It's no doubt that in the lastest chapter we've seen that perhaps sasukes claim of wanting to be hokage may not infact be his only motive.
Lets break it down:
if you all recall when he first arraived to the battlefield he seemed emotionless yet he went on to say he desires to become hokage
Hokage is a prestige title handed to someone whom is recognized by the villagers for his noble deeds and/or actions
So if he really wanted to follow through with itachis efforts to protect the village and become hokage why would he be so emotionless and ignore the very existence of those whom will come to call him hokage?
My answer for this is
Infinite Tsukuyomi!
Why infinite tsukuyomi you ask? Simple take notice how in the latest chapter the monsters created by the ten tails are in a kneeling like bowing position and the angle of the view is focus only on sasuke not naruto or Sakura.
Now think to yourself why would these beast kneel down to sasuke? Is it cause they accept him as a higher being?
I believe sasuke infact does wish to become hokage but in a different mean to do so and that is seal the ten tails in him and use infinite tsukuyomi to cast it upon everyone and create a world were he is accepted and his actions are long but forgotten or maybe he wishes to create a world where the Uchiha and the leaf coexist and he protects the village and itachi is seen as a man whom died for his village and seen as a hero rather than a villain!
