[Theory] Sasuke's Rinnegan Teleport might work like Amaterasu

Recently we have seen a new Rinnegan Technique from Sasuke which he uses to Teleport himself from one place to another. Im making a theory about how that technique works like Amaterasu where you have to look at your target to work. Like Amaterasu ignites where the user sees. This technique could work on what space Sasuke watches to teleport.

Here we have the first use of technique when Madara attacks. Sasuke is shown just next to Naruto. Colors are respectively Madara=Orange ; Sasuke = Blue ; Naruto = Red

Sasuke just teleports to Madara’s left

Shortly after Naruto jumps at Madara and Sasuke is shown to throw his sword at Madara

Now look at the direction Madara turns to get Sasuke’s eye and his position

And here with a blue S is where Sasuke was and the Madara getting stabbed by his sword. Now look how Naruto gets surprised by Sasuke’s vanishing and Madara getting stabbed on his right and on his left Sasuke appears ( Naruto’s L&R not yours) .

And here is Sasuke joining Naruto looking at Madara’s position where Sasuke formerly was

Now all of these mean nothing about how Sasuke’s teleport technique works similar to Amaterasu. These just show that the places where Sasuke has teleported were just in his range of sight and not behind his head.

But at the last chapter , Sasuke was thrown by Kaguya in the lava. Look Sasuke’s stance while getting almost caught by the lava and Naruto first doesn't have a pivotal stance but then he gets more of a fixed posture with his back on the lava’s side.

And now look carefully how Sasuke teleports exactly to Naruto’s back . He could see his back. Why did he decide to just teleport on Naruto’s behind. Surely his range must be bigger than a couple of meters teleporting. He could just see Naruto’s back and there was the point were he could get himself caught without falling in the lava. He had a chance to teleport on Naruto’s front , why risk falling again and catching from Naruto’s foot when he could just show up on Naruto’s front and be caught by Naruto since Naruto can fly now. There is a possibility that his Rinnegan teleport only works on places you pinpoint with your eye

A reviewer compared Sasuke's teleporting to Law's (from OP) room power where he can switch with a person or object. Sasuke has a range just like Law and it works the same way so I think it's more like that but Sasuke doesn't have to switch with anything but can more what he wants into an area in his range.
