How's that random? He's the jinchuriki, so naturally, this would be his next powerup. What would be random would be Sasuke getting Sage Mode without an once of training, because it was made very clear that Sage mode requires hard training.

Who said he didn't train ? He could train since he got merged with Juugo. and if that is not the case.

this means he still was with the snake thing. and switched from hawk to snake again. its also weird how aoda is so humble instead of manda. who want a 1000 humans to do something.

Summoning is done with the hand you have made the contract , so in theory each ninja can have two type of summoning , Sasuke summoned the Hawk with his left hand against Danzo , and he summoned the snake with his right hand against the Juubi.

probably not sage mode during the war... but something similar with nature instead. Jugo will probably play a good part in killing obito too.
