Gaara wasn't guilty of treason or killing a Kage. He also didn't attack a world leader summit. Sasuke crimes are on a different level then Gaara's.

Danzo was a wanted criminal who almost caused an international incident when Sasuke killed him, he had it coming. Not even konoha cared when he died. Sasuke never "attacked" the summit, he was after Danzo and Zetsu ratted him out and they tried to kill him. Most of the kage had nothing against him

Sasuke saving the world? When has he done that? The Hokages are the one's doing everything and technically both Naruto and Sakura are fighting alongside him so it's not like he's the only one saving the world.

Oh so the other Kages have nothing against him is that exactly why they all want to kill him and the Raikage and Gaara all told Naruto to give up.

i like naruto over sasuke anyday and I believe that naruto will be the strongest in the end, but it doesn't change the fact that sasuke being hokage makes more sense.

Kiba hasn't committed any crimes, it would actually make more sense for Kiba to become Hokage then Sasuke because he actually has remained loyal to the village.

I like how you're just forgetting Naruto as a Hokage candidate and are now automatically assuming since he's fighting in the war he'll become Hokage.

Going by your logic just about anyone who's from the leaf that's fighting in the war has a chance of becoming Hokage.

Then there's the whole Naruto actually wanting to become Hokage since day 1 not to mention he's already promised someone a fight over the Hokage title.

As I said Sasuke is either saying this for two reasons one to build up the Naruto vs Sasuke where Naruto will finally win or Kishi has decided to go against everything he's tried to show through the series.

Yeah that's why, the characters keep saying Sasuke could potentially start a war and even remarked after killing Danzo that he knew the village would never accept him again.

Madara did it to himself for trying stir things up when his own clan didn't want to fight anymore..Due to the mistrust the rest of the village had of Madara his clan paid for it in the end. Sasuke's difference is he has Naruto the hero of the village to change their minds on him..But his actions have made him a mini Madara in a way..Even though he did a great thing killing Danzo that dude was cancer to the village slowly eating away at its' core for his own selfish means and using the " to protect the village" bs as an excuse..I think he should be given a medal for killing him..but him abandoning his village is what really has made people dislike and not trust him. I still believe this will be totally different then the Hashirama and Madara saga

He said he wouldn't die until he became Hokage. Also there is Tsunade, Nagato, and Chiyo who all believe in him and want him to be Hokage.
