Theory: Sakura's Reaction

After the big trolling Kishi gave us in the offspring manga there are a few things that people seem to overlook concerning the whole Sarada/Sakura interaction.

Sakura's answers could have been so evasive not because she isn't Sarada's mother and her relationship with Sasuke is really as bad as it portraied to be, instead another option is she never told her daughter about the whole Curse of Hatred stuff from the Uchiha and how Sasuke was a crazy ass for most of part 2. So she is basically walking on eggshells whenever she speaks of Sasuke and tries not drop any hints what he did all the time.

That could also mean Sasuke isn't around because he still thinks he needs to heavily repent for all his actions and furthermore he doesn't want to influence Sarada to finally kill of the whole curse that lies on top of the Uchiha Clan. Basically he could hope that not being around will give his clan a fresh start without the old burdens.

And the appearance of their child is just to troll us readers of course.

Additional thoughts:

We don't even know if Sasuke returned to Konoha for some time after the Last. If Kishi wants to draw out this whole plot line I would guess we see flashbacks showing how Saskura stays away for about 1-2 years and comes back with Sarada afterwards. That would be exactly the way to fan the flames and speculations even more and in the end we get the whole sobbing love story of Sasuke and Sakura confirming that Sarada is still their child.

The conversation got to that point because of Sakura's sketchy reaction and response.

She knew Sasuke didn't wear glasses.

If as some guys suspect those are in fact more of a memento towards Karin(yeah I guess she is dead) then explaining the whole thing would eventually lead to stumble upon Sasuke's dark past which I still believe is hidden from all Konoha new generation kids. That's probably something Sasuke wants to discuss with Sarada once she is mature enough to handle the hard truth, but now it sparked this kind of conflict.

There are no hints to Karin being dead though. The glasses aren't even the same color. Salad's are red and Karin's are brown.

Despite the color the look exactly the same though. And there are not much other legit explanations, either Kishi did it all for trolling or they are a memento/replica to remember Karin's sacrifice (likely saving pregnant Sakura or baby Sarada). Otherwise why would Sakura buy her daughter the exact same styled glasses if you believe Karin is her real mother, that would be totally idiotic. Would she really want to torment herself even more?

It's entirely possible for two people to have the same style glasses, you know.

That's like saying Obito is related to Naruto, because "despite the color their hair looks exactly the same".

Sasuke never cared about Sakura, he never changed, he simply changed his mind about how he wanted to go about being an *******. Sakura is too blinded by her ridiculous "love" for him that she can't see this, that head poke made her his *****, and she's taking care of his kid with Karin. Sasuke wouldn't choose a weak blooded Shinobi to have his kid, Karin is Uzumaki, Sasuke has so much respect for Naruto for beating him he obviously wanted her offspring to have that superior Uzumaki bloodline.
