Nope. Sasuke's technique is amenotijakara, kaguya's is amenominika. The techniques are completely different. Different names, different mechanics and chakra demands.

Actually, if you want to get technical, they're extremely similar. When Sasuke was explaining Amenotejikara, he said he uses another dimension not too far from himself, which is essentially a small scale version of Kaguya's Amenominika.

I am glad someone brought this out. Sasuke is capable of dimension shifting as well, only is they are not too far. But, his restriction is most certainly due to chakra. As we saw that even when Kaguya uses it, she uses so much chakra with each shit that BZ had to tell her to slow down and reserve chakra.

No one else would ever be able to shift dimensions like her.

Ahh I see. If what you say is true, then do you have any idea as to why Sasuke has a Rinnegan with Tomoe's like Kaguya's 3rd eye?​

Sasuke's tomo are there to signify that he can use sharingan powers through his single rinnegan. They are not there to show that he has the rinne sharingan.

Ok first of all the only similarity those two jutsu use is their ability to move themselves,other people and things within certain range to another location without contact. Kaguya's technique allows her to use portals and also to manipulate each dimension. Sasuke's technique doesn't create portals or even travel between dimensions without a pre existing portal created for him.

The names are similar but the workings are different

No, I understand your explanation. I didn't doubt it. But the inner workings are similar, given the eyes are similar. Both can transfer other people and themselves through dimensions, only Sasuke's is far more small scaled due to the chakra needed for it.

Oh, well I'm not even sure if he really had that jutsu. I think it was a reference to the indra of Hinduism. Considering indras PS didn't have that humanoid bijuu form inside of it. Plus sasuke wouldn't know that indra had that ability.
