[Theory] Raikage wasn't at full speed against Minato?

I think when raikage says that only one persons been able to keep up with his full speed he means that. Your just looking to deeply into this. Stop trying to over analyze something that has been presented to you as simply as it can. Sometimes something's are just are what they are. So don't try to look any more deeply than that.

FTG is what Minato used to doge A's attack not his base speed.

Take That into account, and Measure Them either in base stats, or With Jutsu.

In Base I believe they both have 5.0, And as far as with jutsu It's pretty cut and dry that Yondaime Hokage is Faster, as stated many times throughout the manga. So in my opinion, Minato is the fastest. End of story.

Nice points, +Rep. But, even if Raikage (past) had V2 back then, Minato would still be able to dodge. Just barely, however. I admit that the Raikage is fast, and that Minato is also fast. In all honesty - Minato has a split second over Raikage.

hey man !! your forgetting the most obvious part of this thing !!n the picture where he is fighting sauske you can clearly see he is wearing weights on his arm ! for training ! so he couldnt possibly move at full speed at that time ! thats why he is faster after against naruto job done ...

which is why i proposed the theory that he used v1 and not v2, v2 is faster than v1, minato might have been able to barely dodge v1 because of his reflexes but v2 closes this gap

minato is still the fastest shinobi when he was alive...speed kills, before you can even move...you die in an instant...

And tbh minato's base should be quite fast ..not as fast as ftg of course

BEFORE THE MINATO FANBOYS START FLAMING AND SAYING THAT A ADMITTED INFERIORITY READ FIRST !



here A uses v1 lightning amour, notice his hair is all-back.


same thing over here.

Then there is v2 look at the middle of the panel in the scan below


You see his hair spike up, and at this point, raikage's speed increased significantly (combined with shushin of course)


you see his hair is still spiked up because he is in v2 lightning amour, which is significantly faster then v1

But against minato we only saw him use v1 lightning amour

we also see here that minato just in a nick of time escapes A's punch, but with the enhanced speed of v2 would he have landed a hit on minato ? would minato's reflexes save him this time?
It can be said that A in the past did not have v2 which was why he was unable to land a hit but would he be able to if he had v2 ?

I think that Minato would have delayed until the very last minute to ensure his opponent was fully committed before using his technique, which also happens to LOOK like his opponent *just missed.

Yes Sasuke never dodged his full speed punch, he dodged the full speed elbow bolt but both are full speed..on topic, minato purposely teleported at the last second, and you can clearly see him remove the kunai in the nick of time aswell, minato is faster, he just has perfect timing too
