The recent chapter left quite a few questions for myself and others so I've decided to make this thread to elaborate on all of them. The biggest things that struck me of course were the revelation of Hagoromo's brother and Indra's spiral rinnegan being changed to a sharingan. There are several questions reflecting mine and others' thoughts so I've decided to make a poll for them for others to vote which ones should be elaborated on and which ones shouldn't. You may also theorize here how to answer them.
1) What is Kaguya?
My theory: A yokai or demon.
2) Where did Kaguya come from?
My theory: Another dimension of yokai similar to the espers from final fantasy VI.
3) What became of Kaguya?
My theory: She either died in the Juubi's first rampage or returned to her dimension.
4) Did Hagoromo have a father?
My theory: No, he and his brother are messiahs born from Kaguya eating the Shinju fruit.
5) Were Hagoromo and his brother always allies?
My theory: Off and on like Ashura and Indra, Hashirama and Madara and Naruto and Sasuke.
6) What became of Hagoromo's brother?
My theory: Hard to say. I believe he either died in battle against Hagoromo, was assassinated or died prematurely either of disease or from fatal wounds by the Juubi.
7) How was the Juubi divided between Hagoromo and his brother?
My theory: In the same manner as Yin and Yang Kurama.
8) Why was Hagoromo's brother never mentioned before?
My theory: Either retconned, left for now as a twist or to resolve other plot devices or Ashura believed he would have been a bad influence on others and thus he erased his existence from history.
9) How were the Hyuugas and Uzumakis sired?
My theory: I believe their sire is Hagoromo's brother.
10) How were the Kaguya and Hagoromo clans sired?
My theory: I believe Kaguya sired her clan (consisting of Kimimaro) with a human before she ate the god fruit. The only theory I have for the Hagoromo clan is that he either had a third child or the Senjus broke into two clans.
11) How exactly are the chakra spirits reincarnated?
My theory: I believe they are dispersed into fragments and manifest after several generations.
Examples being Indra's in from Madara's and Sasuke's, Ashura's into both Hashirama and Naruto's and possibly Hagoromo's brother's into Itachi, Nagato and Neji.
12) What became of the spiral rinnegan?
My theory: Indra will somehow develop it later in this backstory.
13) What was Hagoromo's brother's name?
My theory: Siddhartha, the Buddha's real name.
