INTRODUCTION
Hello guys, I would like to talk about possible Origin of Senjutsu and more, so please be patient and stay focused as I will begin...
Many wondered about Origin of Senjutsu, so maybe what I will say what be new but still everything stated by this thread will have point.
ORIGIN OF SENJUTSU
First let's explain what Senjutsu is:
^^ Senjutsu is Shinobi art which absorb Nature Energy from outside and mix it with your own chakra(physical + spiritual energies) getting new powerfull type of chakra called Sage chakra.

Ok, so now we know that Senjutsu requires nature energy to works..., then let's seach for origin of nature energy...
^^ Answer is simple, the Juubi is...
Now let's wonder who fought Juubi...
We know that Sage of six paths at least met Juubi and sealed in himself... but most likely fought it as well... as to seal something you need first to weaken it...
Now let's wonder then how Sage of six paths could weaken Juubi to seal it and how his seal could be so powerfull to keep Juubi contained with him...
The answer is Simple, Juubi far outclassed Sage of six paths by raw power alone..., and to defeat much stronger opponent you need to use his own strength against him... but how...
Another simple conclusion, The Sage of six paths found out/figured out or maybe even created way to use Juubi power aka nature energy against it, but how could he do that...
Once again it is simple he absorbed Juubi nature energy weaken the monster while keep chakra and nature energy in balance... result was Sage chakra, new type of chakra which was much more powefull then normal chakra. That what is called " kill two birds with one stone ", make himself stronger while making opponent much weaker... that is exactly what The Sage of six paths did !

Pure Sage mode and Origin of Animal Sage mode
Sage of six paths figured out way to absorb nature energy and use it along with his physical + spiritual energies(chakra) to get perfect balance between three energies creating new type of chakra: Sage mode...
This Sage mode was called Human/Pure Sage mode as no animals were involved in learing that Sage mode...
This Pure Sage mode was used to defeat and seal The Juubi...
However the Sage of six paths had three summons as: Toad, Slug, Snake and for their help he taught them Sage mode... however none of three animals could master Sage mode perfectly...so new three types of Sage mode were created from Pure Sage mode, there were: Toad Sage mode, Slug Sage mode, Snake Sage mode known as well as Dragon Sage mode. Each of Animal Sage mode was lacking something from pure Sage mode while having advantage of having something that other animal sage mode didn't have and opposite...
The First Toad was known as Great Toad Sage of Mountain Myoboku:
The First snake was known as White Snake Sage of Ryūchi Cave:
The First slug wasn't revealed yet.... but we know that it came from Shikkotsu Forest.
Only Younger Son of Sage of six paths:
Younger Son wrote all his secrets somewhere as well... or know that by putting his or his descendant arm on the Sage's Tablet which he left and uchiha stole it and placed in his temple Senjuu could reach content of Tablet contain.
As sharingan can read tablet, same Senjuu could read tablet with putting just one hand on the stone
as MS could read even more, same Pure Sage mode allowed Senju to read even more
and The Rinnengan is final evolution for the both sides.

Juugo and Senjutsu

^^ Kabuto mentioned that Juugo's source of power is Ryūchi Cave..., but I believe myself that Juugo clan is based on Juubi itself... only juubi and Juugo can absorb constanly nature energy even while moving...
The difference is that Juubi doesn't have chakra so he doesn't go mad, however Juugo has chakra so when amount of nature energy surprass his chakra and he can't balance three energies then he goes mad...
The result of taking too much nature energy in snake teaching is getting mad and can't control yourself while you turn into Stone in toad way of leaning lol.

In the end I believe there are four types of Sage mode maybe five if Monkey Sage mode exists. One Pure Sage mode obtained in human way and three or four Animal Sage mode depends if Monkey Sage mode exists obtained in animal way.
Pure Sage mode= All Animal Sage modes combined
Pure Sage mode users : Sage of six paths, Very possible Younger Son of Sage of six paths, Hashirama and maybe Tobirama(If kishi give him Sage mode)
Toad Sage mode users : Great Toad Sage, Fukusaku, Shima, Jirayia, Naruto and maybe Minato(if Kishi gives him Sage mode)
Snake/Dragon Sage mode users : White Snake Sage, Kabuto and maybe Orochimaru(if Kishi gives him Sage mode)

- Sage of six paths possesed Pure Sage mode, the most powerfull one
- Pure Sage mode is combination of all animal Sage mode: Toad, Snake/Dragon and Slug Sage mode as known for now
- Toad Sage mode, Slug Sage mode and Snake/Dragon Sage mode were created from Pure Sage mode
- Sage of six paths had three summons: Toad, Snake and Slug, from all of them they are known together us:
Toad: Great Toad Sage of Mountain Myoboku
Snake: White Snake Sage - Sage of six paths taught Pure Sage mode to Toad, Snake and Slug but they were unable to master it fully so they adapted it to their own teaching ways and use.
- There is possibility of Monkey Sage mode exists... unless Son goku was meaning pure sage mode taught to him by The Sage of six paths himself
