Theory on why Hagoromo chose Ashura for ninshuu

Maybe ninshuu's source of power is the hearts of others and since Indra had little to no understanding about the power of bonds he wasn't chosen.

With that being said, do you think Ninshuu is some type of spirit-bomb attack that uses the energy of people who believe in him?

Ninshuu is using chakra to connect all human for human well being and good life, its not a weapon and Hagoromo despise any attempt to used chakra as weapon.

And Ninshuu not similar like Spirit bomb, because the former is chakra distribution and chakra sharing while later is chakra collecting to create a weapon.

Seems Ninshuu was largely backed by the idea of cooperation and understanding of others, so Ashura was picked. Other than connecting people with chakra, I don't believe it does anything else (it was more peace oriented than ninjutsu; weaponizing chakra).

Naruto used ninshuu when he connected his chakra with everyone and everyone read his feelings. That's ninshuu. He chose Ashura because he knew what it's like to work with others in order to get stronger. Indra was very solitude and relied on his own ability so it makes sense why he wasn't chosen.

If I'm aware that is a big feat.... everyone in the series uses spiritual and physical energy (even if they can not use ninjutsu, like Rock Lee)
