I don't want to be immortal or anything like that, it's just a theory.
Cancerous cells are pretty much immortal right? Since they go out of control and spread to different parts of our body and grow to form tumors, and kill us, that's bad. What if all regular cells were given the properties of cancer but were controlled so they do not cause any problems to a body or do not grow to form tumors? Since they have infinite replicative potential and can divide endlessly, that can essentially cause immortality? I don't know, if that can cause an organism to live forever, just a thought.
