Once again if your not up to date in the current season and last 3 episodes don't read

Book and show qyburn was kicked out of the maester org. For dwelling in dark arts and experimenting on people
Gregor clegane who was poisoned by oberyn the viper who was a master with poisons and there currently was no cure for whatever he used on Gregor
Yet qyburn somehow saved him
in the books he asked permission from cersei to experiment on people which allowed him to save Gregor we currently don't know what happened to any of them one was bronns wife's sister
In the show he says he can save Gregor but he won't be entirely himself and qyburn did seem a little uneasy about it
Gregor has remained entirely silent yet obeys every command they had him take off the helmet yet we still didn't get a look much on his face it was too dark small hint
I believe qyburn discovered a similar method or lesser to how the children saved benjen from dying and becoming a wight and used that on Gregor we don't know how benjen nearly died how many stabs he went through
But I think by using. Dragon glass it made the poison be nullified and purged from Gregors body
One reason on how qyburn may know this is cause of the maesters at the citadel if u read book 5 when Sam got there and the man he talked to who told him some things u could then see why something like is might not be known or some knew and hid it away

Dragon glass was used in the show to create the nights king of course it entirely changed him but the children used some form of magic to create him through a human
Ben Jen also got that but I believe a different version since his eyes are not blue and he is in control of himself and not going around creating armies of ice zombies
In the book coldhands Sam didn't know he was like the wights or walkers till he touched his hands which were hidden but not covered up
Dragon glass is not rare it's all over the world and the maesters have a lot of it
Basically what I'm saying if u can't understand is
Qyburn used dragon glass through his " dark research"saved clegane who is all armored up u can't really see his face at all
He takes off helmet u can tell his face is disfigured but can't see his skin color at all and like benjen maintained his eye color though he doesn't talk much while clegane before said at least a few words but usually in angry rants
And clegane is being obedient and doing as he commands but who knows this could have major consequences later on if this is true
Now if they ever show Gregor around animals and they freak out that's a big hint unless Hbo makes that void but in the books animals know the wights and walkers are a big no no
Last but not least only reason I thought of this was I was creating my own game of thrones fan fic and as I was thinking about the dragon glass and then my mind spiraled

Basically the citadel and maesters hate and feared magic, dragons, and things they deem foul they were one of the main reason the Targaryen dragons died out and they hoard some info away from the world sam was supposed to also go there and tell them about the white walkers aemons belief that ahzor azhai the prince who was promised was coming and Sam was told by the man sorry forgot his name basically said hey good thing I found u first (he used some magic item and foresaw sams arrival) these guys would have murdered u if they found out the man then heads out to go to dany cause if the citadel finds out that her dragons are real they would try to kill her or mislead her
