Many people believe that in the chapter that sasuke was talking about a threat bigger than Kaguya, that sakura was pregnant. If she was pregnant,and Sarada is confirmed to be Karina child, is it too far fetched to believe the possibility of Sakura having a misscaridge with her biological child or the child dying before birth or shortly after. That would set up nicely with sakura wanting to raise Sarada as her own and it would help sakura as a character as well. In a series where people are ripping out eyes, a misscaridge is far from not being feasible.
