Well yeah Obito obviously won't survive, but Kishi has been killing the older generation off, and Kakashi really doesn't really have much of a plot purpose anymore besides his connection to Obito.

Plus with how much effort Obito put into the Eye of the Moon Plan makes me think he won't be TNJ easily.

And like I said before, we are running out of bad guys and still have a year of manga to go.

A year will pass by easily without the need for the introduction of a new villain, with all the TnJ, FnJ, and manga breaks a year is enough time for Madara with Juubi to solo the stage as the villain. Look at Sasuke, 200+ chapters of hating Konoha and yet he changes in the flick of a finger because of Hashirama's TnJ. And he suffered worse than Obito.

I think one of them will die but I agree Obito will go all goodie-goodie again; if Kakashi dies, Obito will swear to put an end to Madara's terror and if Obito dies, then Kakashi will get the Sharingan from Obito as a gift again to ensure Madara is defeated but I highly doubt both will be getting out there alive

Reviving Madara doesn't have to be of Obito's own volition, Madara could force him either by controlling Obito's body or using Black Zetsu to overtake Obito and forcefully make him cast Rinne Tensei on Madara, like I said in my OP, I am doubtful if Obito will survive the war.

And I seriously doubt Kishimoto will kill Kakashi. Lol

Also I think if he joins the alliance he will most likely die a dog's death at the hands of Madara. I think that is needed to fuel Kakashi and Naruto's anger

Another theory of mine is that there was another incident..in which Rin was actually killed.

Evidence of this is throughout the series Kakashi has said I couldn't protect Rin... "Protect?" You killed her yourself...so why is it protect?
