Based on the evidences and subtle hints in the Manga, I have come to the conclusion that Obito's ultimate fate is redemption, Kakashi will convince him to turn his back on the Eye of the Moon Plan and possibly join Kakashi in the fight against Madara and the Juubi.

Take a look at this:

We know that Obito said "You Let Rin Die"

And yet we were shown that Kakashi stabbed Rin with Chidori:

It seems contradictory at first, but it's not.

It's because Rin herself asked Kakashi to kill her.

Mirroring Haku's request to Naruto:

It is because the Mist Ninjas did something to her body:

Under the orders of no other than Madara Uchiha:

Rin was already done for, she asked Kakashi to kill her because she doesn't want the Mist Ninjas to obtain info from her body:

You could even see Kakashi's remorse in doing the deed:

Obito already knew Madara was behind it all, that is why he's antagonistic towards Madara:

So what Obito meant when he said "You Let Rin Die" to Kakashi is:

Kakashi couldn't prevent what the Mist Ninjas did to Rin's Body leading Rin herself to ask Kakashi to kill her for she was already done for anyway. Hence the words "You Let Rin Die/You Allowed Rin To Be Murdered"

Now considering Kakashi and Obito's Fight in the Kamui Dimension:

It's rather obvious that Kishimoto placed both of them inside it for them to talk:

They will no doubt fight at first, but it will ultimately lead to Obito's change of heart.

And it's highly probable that Obito and Kakashi will team-up to fight Madara and the Juubi, since it has been foreshadowed before:

And it has been greatly foreshadowed that Obito will redeem himself since he has all the elements needed for Kishimoto's plot of redemption:

a. Tragic Backstory:

Mirroring previous antagonists who redeemed themselves:

b. Parallelism:

c. Non-Malicious Intentions:

d. Foreshadowing:

Kishimoto Plot-Wise: It is a logical certainty that Obito will be redeemed.

I see Obito and Kakashi teaming up to fight Madara and the Juubi, but I do not believe Obito will survive the war, after his redemption he will likely get killed by Madara since the resolution of his character's story has come full circle:

This is where we're headed it seems.

Kishimoto really needs to stop doing that...

WHATEVER. I don't care anymore.
Let him be tnjed, I'll still like Obito. U_U

My question is...

If Obito TNJ'd how will Madara deal with EVERYBODY against him? He can't even become the jink of the Jubi at that point and even though the Jubi's strength is limitless it doesn't exactly make a nice final villain.

I like your style of plotting a theory, nevertheless marvelous as always...

But I'd rather want Obito dead at Kakashi's hands...

Obito's Rinne Tensei must be used at some point... and what if Obito actually kills Kakashi, but on Kakashis deathbed he tells the truth about Rin's Death... later on... Obito will ressurect Kakashi?

but Kakashi already died and got ressuredted by Rinne Tensei, i don't think Kishi would like to do it all over again though...

Great Theory my dear friend! keep it up!

Ah.....

Can't Obito just say "Myself redeemed? Don't make me laugh. Go to Hell" and pluck Kakashi's eye outta his socket and get the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan instead?

I want Obito to be an exception but I guess it´s kinda inevitable :p

+ rep for the hilarious hugging pic it fit so well lol
that being said.If obito does get redemption i think it will be in his final moments. He is too critical for the plan to get off the ground. If there is no obito then madara can't begin infinite tsukuyomi. And even though we all know it will not be pulled off it still has to get underway and for that to happen obito needs to help.

I mean if they wrap this up without even a glimpse of the infinite tsukuyomi then it would feel kinda hastened and cheesey.
Obito's redemption doesn't need to be something everyone(whole ally forces) needs to see.If at all should be enacted in front of the key players.Because i myself am tired of the same ol routine kishi has been dishing us.
