I think this is the direction that the story will go. Obito's draining sage power from Madara.

We all know that Obito won't beat Madara, and he's dying anyway. So what's the point of him doing this? I think he's going to give back Naruto the 9 tails along with some of the sage's power. This way, Naruto can drag the biju's chakra out of Madara again, while getting a bit of a buff. Now obviously Sasuke and those tools that TenTen has is also going to be part of it, but I think this is what's gonna happen on Naruto's end.

Well in my mind Obito HAS to die in order to redeem himself. People like Raikage can't just forgive him and stuff...
