I agree with you. I think (and hope) there will be a part 3, and your reasoning was pretty good. Even if you consider it guess work and theories, I think your right about Masashi Kishimoto probably not wanting to stop an excellent source of money. I have some other stuff that looks like it won't be ending as well.. More or less..

And finally, (this being a little guess work of my own) you can check out a small summery translated from the upcoming movie for December 6th (Naruto: The Last) and it doesn't exactly look like it's mainly to end the manga, more like just a good movie idea.. But who knows. It could possibly open up for a upcoming part 3 or just be a good movie to watch like Road To Ninja was. Read from here -

I don't know whether it's all concrete or not when added altogether, but I won't a deny that I am 'Hoping' for a part 3 like crazy, haha. I could very well be wrong, but I hope I'm not!

If there was going to be a part 3 why would th announce the end of Naruto manga? I expect some kind of spinoff which is what is probably what's going to be announced nov. 10th (I had a thread about it but the shit Overzealous NB mods closed it) I just hope whatever comes next actually explains the things that kishimoto just skimmed over in the manga.

Like kaguya and her sons. More motivation behind IT. Ect. I wish there was going to be a part 3 but I just find it unlikely. Kishimoto seems tired of writing Naruto.

He is the king of trolls , telling "this is the end" before announcing "this is the start of part 3" would be a great troll.
It would also be a great pub , making every naruto fan talk about the end , then announcing that it was just the end of part 2 , no doubt that we are going to talk a lot about Kishimotot and his manga if he does that.

Naruto last movie it clearly states it no part 3 of Naruto but a new remix staring a new character.

But it would be stupid to end his manga the way he's doing so far because he added so many characters so many problems and nearly nothing been solved even how hamura died maybe ham will be in the next kishi moto story

You and your brothers are sad , you are waiting day after day if Toriyama is talking somewhere about a part 2 , but you only find him saying "this is the end" , sadness on Earth.
The day Toriyama announces the beginning of DBZ is the best day of your life , Toriyama owned you in such a powerfull way , that was clever.
That balance of emotion created an addiction to those kind of suspens , you began to think about how that magic was done years later , you mastered your emotions and now , you are the master of those kind of suspenses and fake announces.

Akkipuden Naruto: Shippuden The following finally confirmed!!


Bolt from the Naruto universe: there will be indeed a third season with all our heroes managed (finally) to adulthood. And the surprise is real given the fact that everyone thought the manga over soon! But nay. In the latest edition of Weekly Shonen Jump, Kishimoto said the way it had always been his aim, and Dragon Ball Z was no stranger to this decision.

"If you look DBZ, you can see that there are roughly three periods: a child with Goku, Goku with another teenager, and a third adult Goku [...] This third period is essential because it sees evolve the son and daughters of our heroes.
