Yes, if you disregard the fact that Madara said it was possible, and that Sasuke is also a reincarnation of Indra that carries the straight tomoe design.

Madara also showed that feat. Sasuke on the other hand has not. Therefore, until he does it's purely speculation/fanfic.

Saying "confirmed" does not make it confirmed. Precedence is for the end to include a clone. I am not saying that is what Kishimoto will do, but that is the precedence from the conclusion two relevant fights.
