Before i know Naruto or sakura

I have seen multiple times in action anime/manga

They used cherry blossom illusion techniques , Or (haruno)spring storm illusion techniques

And when I watched Naruto and knew sakura , I immediately thought she will use illusion technique

Because of her name

Sakura {桜 }= cherry blossom

Haruno {春の桜 } = spring

And then kakashi sensei said sakura is a genjutsu(illusion) type
Which made me believe more that sakura is going to use it

Not to mention the 'genjutsu' first introduced in the manga it was casted ON sakura

I think that she is hinted to have a genjutsu(illusion) Technique because kakashi said something like
sakura originally a genjutsu type
She might even surpass the fifth hokage.

Meaning her genjutsu will play a part at surpassing tsunade .

because breaking through genjutsu only .Doesn't make someone a genjutsu type , Sakura needs to learn to cast one .

But still that doesn't make someone a "Genjutsu type"

Here jiraya tells naruto he will teach naruto how to dispel genjutsu

But he won't teach him how to cast genjutsu because he isn't a "genjutsu type ".


there is people who can cast a genjutsu even though they aren't genjutsu types like kakashi Because of the sharingan copying .


Sakura might learn to cast one in future . Who knows?

Yeah,although i think she may get normal genjutsu if there was a time skip


But the cherry blossom is a bit to farfetched now

I have to agree with this guy. But i believe what was foreshadowed will come true. In another light, Sakura will indeed have genjutsu as a part of surpassing Tsunade but i feel she will do it more along the lines of dispelling.

I mean kakashi never tried to assess her on casting genjutsu. He was more out to see how well she was at breaking it.

It's less of a "out of the blue" situation IMO and she has done this before. Just this time it will be more significant. If infinite Tsukyomi (or h/e u spell) goes through at some point, i firmly believe she will be one of the few not caught(cuz if it does some people have to be free in order to save the day). The only other way to develop her genjutsu feat otherwise would be against sasuke.

Like fayeon said, if there's any time skip probably kishimoto will portray sakura with that genjutsu department.
