Theory: Monkey Sage Mode

I was re-reading the manga and I came across something interesting.(the main reason is near the bottom)

as we all know there are only 2 known sage modes atm.....Snake and Toad.

It was also theorized at one point that there may be also slug(since tsunade is part of that trio)

Some people also theorized monkey due to emna being a talking animal and partnering with Hiruzen, who taught the sannin.

We see that hiruzen moved a lot like a monkey, similar to how Orochimaru moves like a snake, meaning he trained with monkeys.

"fun fact"
with enma turning into a staff and hiruzen wielding it.....it was a pun on the "monkey king" character from the famous chinese literature "journey to the west"

Now we know that there are two main head sage animals so far

The White Sage Snake of the Ryuchi cave

now then as for the monkey sage, Son Goku calls himself the Sage King of the Apes of the Suiren Caves

So not only does he say Ape Sage, but also Suiren Cave(a location just like the snakes have Ryuchi Cave and toads have Mount Myoboku)


This is a pretty big indication that there is in fact such a thing as Monkey Sage Mode.

Sasuke CC2 Is a weaker version of Sage Mode.
Logically in the time he did have the cursemark he had 'Hawk Sage Mode'.

yeah but that is related to Snake sages....the natural energy from that region infected juugo's clan, which then Orochimaru used DNA to created the curse mark.....

it doesn't mimic a certain animal, but just morphs you into a monster

where did you get that information? we have seen so many summons that can talk like kakashis dogs or gai's tortoise..probably tehre are a lot more...

We don't know of a sage mode with animals that don't talk.

I think it makes sense, as it is speculated that Tsunade's slugs have a sage mode, and we know Oro's snakes and Jiraiya's toads did, and since Hiruzen was their sensei it fits that the animal he was linked with would have SM also. Plus your evidence is good as well! Nicely done.​
