Okay well I'll add to your argument.

What do these two have in common? Well they both have nice blonde hair and beautiful smiles. Both of them are quite intelligent as well, so could it be that Minato also has the same element as Temari, therefore he has wind release just like her?

Just something to think about.

Now to add something serious. Killer Bee's tentacles have very little durability feats so it isn't too impressive cutting them. If Minato had actually used wind release to power up his kunai at that point in time, he should have been able to slice through it completely with ease. Not saying he doesn't have wind release since I do believe it is likely for him to do so but your whole argument of cutting most of the tentacle isn't that great of a feat to make me believe he does have it.

I can "come at you", but that is not gonna make your assumptions wrong, but it might as well be Kushina that he got wind release from?

And one might as well be able to cut it without using wind release, we haven't seen anybody fail at it, so you have no valid arguments there...

Minato made a counter attack to attack A, and wind isn't the only way to break the lightning armor, besides you never know till you try... But obviously it's a good argument that if he had wind release that would make the situation different.

Don't forget it was their 1st and only meeting ever, and they only knew rumors about each other.

And don't think I say this, cause I don't agree. I do. It's definitely more likely that Narutos wind affinity comes from Minato, but we will probably never know, and it doesn't matter anyway. There just isn't enough evidence to tell his nature, but it is of course most likely to be wind.. In general wind affinity users don't use their affinity for much so..

Ok, I find this a decent arguement.

But not great at all. Think about it. Forget the passing down through genetic thing, and focus on the manga page i posted specifically.

1. You say shinobi can cut the 8 Tails tentacle without a nature release. Then WHY do they make such a big deal about the 3rd Raikage being able to fight it and cut off tentacles (with lightning release) ?!??!? You say my arguement isnt valid but neither is your answer lol.

2. You say wind isnt the only way to break the lightning armor. BUT YOU THINK IT CAN BE DONE WITH A FREAKING KUNAI?!? We all know Minato is a genius, he'd know wind is strong against lightning release.

3. It was their 1st meeting ever, but they BOTH obviously knew about eachother's feats/jutsus. Minato is a genius, and he recognized "A" as soon as he saw him. We both know Minato knew about his lighning release, he commented on how FAST the (soon to be) Raikage was. YOU HAVE TO AGREE WITH ME MANNNNNNNNNNNN

BUT HE CUT IT WITH ONLY A KUNAI. I dont care how "impressive" or not his feats are, its the freaking 8 Tails tentacle. And a Kunai we are talking about here. COME ONNNNNN

And FYI He DID cut through it with ease. Man. He cut it in less than a second, from top to bottom. Did you even see how WIDE than cut he made was?!? How did he make the cut, that deep, that wide, with that little Kunai, no wind release, strictly off brute strength?!? When the 3rd Raikage did it to the 8 Tails people praised him like a God, it allowed him to fight ON PAR with the freaking tailed beast. Please dont tell me that Minato doing the Same Thing with a Kunai dont sound like BS. GTFO

Cool theory and very interesting evidence.

If nothing else this thread will educate a bunch of people who seem to think rasengan is a wind jutsu... I mean seriously there was a whole arc on teach Naruto just how to use wind element well after he learned rasengan!!

Jariya, Kakashi, and Minoto can do rasangan with one hand because they are really talented ninjas and are much better at chakra manipulation than Naruto. Go back to the chapters where naruto is first learning with the water balloon if you don't get it.
