Well, yeah, I said it. The reason I say this is because: Kakuzu is made of threads. The only source of blood would be from his hearts. Each heart contains different blood tho. So when kakashi retrieved the blood and gave it to shikamaru, they had one of the hearts blood. The heart was already destroyed as well. So when hidan stabbed himself it shouldn't have effected kakuzu because the heart was already destroyed and he didn't have the blood of any of the others.

I also want to point this out: The heart is also basically the brain in Naruto. Its the only thing you need to live, as we saw in sasori and kakuzu, so when kakuzu uses a heart, other than his own, shouldn't the original owner of the heart take over? This also means ninja dont have to breathe xD.

P.s. Now Kishi obviously does think, the title was just an attention grabber.
