[Theory] Kaguya's backstory and purpouse/reason behind consuming Forbidden fruit

Hello guys, I have not seen any theory in awhile so I decided to come with one on my own. I hope you enjoy reading it, so here I go:

^^ We know from Madara that people used to fight each other even back then when chakra was unknown.

^^ Kaguya was the one who took and consumed the fruit which was forbidden. It was said that it was to win the war, but Did she do that for selfish reasons or Is it more depth to her actions ?

^^ That why Kaguya merged with Shinjuu to take chakra back from people. This is one main failure from my favourite character Hagoromo Ootsutsuki, well he was too naive.

^^ the consuming forbidden fruit, changed her in Hagoromo's opinion. However I believe there is more to that then we think.

I believe Kaguya most likely had lover(man) in the past, and most likely his death at top of unending human wars was the trigger for Kaguya to consume forbidden fruit.

^^ If Madara fell into despair that why couldn't Kaguya... surely it was hard blow to her to loose loved one and most likely she wanted to no woman expierience same pain so she wanted to save them from pain.

Too bad irony made people being afraid of her as demon with her power:

^^ Sadly people didn't see her true purpouse but just rulling them over with power made her demon in their's eyes. Another irony when they themselves were using that power to rule each other mimicking Kaguya herself.
That why She wanted to take chakra back, because she didn't see people using chakra as her son wanted them to, but instead it only got worse.

Hagoromo and Hamura didn't see her point in her action, also they were most likely unaware of that Juubi was Kaguya merged with Shinjuu considering Juubi as monster who killed humans for some reasons, that why they stopped it and it caused kaguya to feel betrayed even by her sons, that why she was so obsessed to regain the chakra from people, because in her eyes like Madara's eyes chakra was:

but the pain of betrayal and fear of loosing loved ones or seeing another loosing loved ones:

CONCLUSION: Kaguya was good woman, loving and caring even after eating forbidden fruit her genuine and gentle caring side of mother remained in her, but she has seen deeper into this and was ready to sacrifice everything to make World peace place again. The great love to children is the best proof how much she loved the man with who she got children...

Yes i have mentioned one in my previous thread Kaguya's return is foreshadowed in naruto's last movie from the inspiration of Tale of Bamboo Cutter i came to the point that Kaguya had a lover who was killed in the ever growing war when she consumed the fruit due to the lose of her loved once she took the vengeance on people by keeping them under her control so that any of the loved once she cared about will not be killed .

Even Kishimoto movie states "Naruto last movie first love " indicates Kaguya's lost love and her soul must be sent in peace now the Gedo Mezo is sealed in another dimension will appear on earth and spell end of the word of ninja .

Simply, She wanted humans to avoid the pain/suffering of loosing loved ones as she had to expierience. However Her gunine and caring side didn't want to be seen as demon who force other to obey to her will so she came up with idea of great Genjutsu which at least put humans in pleasant dreams where they could fulfill every dream they have.

From her point of view it was caring about people and saving them from pain/suffering. However from objective point of view it was a bit of selfish but again place yourself in her place first, she has expierienced trauma, maybe had big fear to wars... so that why she wanted to avoid it at all costs.

I mean you can say Kaguya was stupid(although I would say more obsessed) and she lacked battle smart(true), but if look deeper then you will see she is not as flat as people make out her to be... she is much more, but one need to place yourself in someone place to judge someone.

^^ I agree with you in everything except bold part, I really don't believe it was due to venegance it was rather precautions to make sure she will save them from the pain and suffering of what she has expierienced herself.

I mean She has consumed fruit, then later when her son attempt to spread chakra failed to bring people together then she decided to act but she noticed that shinjuu and her will is the same "To take chakra back from humans", that why she merged with Shinjuu, maybe she wanted to make it faster and on her own it would take a lot of time or it could be precaution to avoid people fearing her and destroy her carring goddess image, so as monster they would never suspect her... and she though about their good but she knows they would no see that, too bad she didn't include two things :

1. Taking chakra back will kill human
2. Not informing her sons about her actions caused in the end that they were the one who stopped her as irony.

^^ Simple, so warrior, prince the normal man who was protecting his land taking part in the wars to protect the people most likely, but due to not having the chakra he is not important and skipped by Kishi

^^ Exactly the fear of loosing loved ones is often reason of going mad or make you unable to think objective, just you try to do as want even if it take forcing someone...

Great thread. You know I'm one of the few people who actually like Kaguya despite not having an entire backstory told on her. We know she was a good person and great mother before she ate the fruit which leads me to believe the fruit is a living being that has evil intent and did something to her. That's just me though.

Or the fruit just surfaced her desire to stop the war at all cost, then her fear was surfaced about loosing loved ones so she decided to cast Genjutsu and put them in it. True, She was so much in fear and desspair that she sadly didn't informed hagoromo and Hamura what she was going to do. Of course they would be not happy and try to talk her out of it, but then again they would have point because Kaguya's actions have too terrible side effects:

1. Forcing chakra out of humans kill them
2. Keeping people in IT wound turn them in White Zetsu(I believe it was Shinjuu's venegance while Kaguya was too much obsesed and happy with people being safe and in dreams to care about transformation or any side effect.)

maybe she was betrayed like someone broke her heart and abuse her after she ate the fruit to stop the war (just like people were using the bijuus without considering their own feelings) so her sons stopped her and she just became pure hate like Kurama because of her frustration, pain and suffered from a multiple personality disorder like a post traumatic stuff :|

Yeah I agree that fruit was only great power + maybe it strengthen and surfaced your fear, desires etc.

This is also possible... although I see loosing loved one then being pushed to gain power and stop the war at all cost more reasonable.

However I agree the suffering/pain and most likely trauma she has expierienced pushed her over edge.

I would agree but you have to take this into context. Black Zetsu was the one that altered the tablet in the uchiha shrine. So its possible he changed the story of Kaguyas origin to make others seem more sympathetic.

Maybe she was a demon all along but Black Zetsu who loved and idolized his mother thinks of her as a princess.

Could be but I doubt Black Zetsu is type of harsh and evil entity, he take pleasure from pain and suffering of others.

I believe Black Zetsu is Hamura rotting body taken over by Rabbit demon...
