Madara has already succeeded in infinite tsukiyomi. World is under genjitsu and does not know it. Though it is far from perfect. Kishinoto is basically like morpheas in the matrix. He is telling the story of how this happened.

There is a long philosophical and scientific history to the underlying thesis that reality is an illusion. This skeptical hypothesis (which can be dated in Western thought back to Parmenides, Zeno of Elea and Plato and in Eastern thought to the Advaita Vedanta concept of Maya) arguably underpins the mind–body dualism of Descartes, and is closely related to phenomenalism, a stance briefly adopted by Bertrand Russell. In a narrower sense it has become an important theme in science fiction, and recently has become a serious topic of study for futurology, in particular for transhumanism through the work of Nick Bostrom. The Simulation Hypothesis is a subject of serious academic debate within the field of transhumanism.

In an emigration simulation, the participant would enter the simulation from an outer reality, via a brain-computer interface, but to a much greater degree. On entry, the participant is subject to mind transfer which temporarily relocates their mental processing into a virtual-person which holds their consciousness. Their outside-world presence remains in stasis during the simulation. After the simulation is over, the participant's mind is transferred back into their outer-reality body, along with all new memories and experiences gained. Tsukiyomi is described by this theory.

As you can see we are all clearly über genjutsu. Anyone here have any theories on how to break it?

My guess is to release the Genjutsu you would have to first sense the casters location. Naruto has the ability to sense negative emotions. Secondly, you would have to disrupt the Genjutsu which ultimately release you from the Genjutsu. This goes by destroying the Shijuu Tree itself or keeping the caster distracted to focus on the Genjutsu.

Then what is it discussing and what section do you feel it belongs in? Pretty sure this is the section for general debates and discussions.

There is a serious debate in the scientific and cosmological community right now. Some of the top (albeit eccentric) minds in the world feel there is a vast amount of evidence to support the possibility that were are living in a simulation. Also people who study the future see it as a very plausible end to the world as it is now anyway. So who is to say it hasn't happened.

Not like the matrix. Obviously a body would take more energy to keep alive than it would ever produce, but there are many other theories on the concept.

Emigration is one of them and who is to say that our actually reality would be anything like this is we are under simulation or genjutsu?

.... But then you lost me.... Derp. :p How can we break out of something we clearly do not we are under? It is all in the mind. ;)

But there is literally no evidence to prove that we are living in an Illusion. It generally depends on the perception of the person. If he likes it, he will call it reality. If he hates it, he will call it an illusion.

even illusion needs an origin thats real, so basically its pointless to think that.

no illusion or reality can exist without cause.

Well that does seem like the obvious answer, but unfortunately it's absolutely incorrect. There is evidence depending on how you interpret it.

Let's be honest here. I might have above average intelligence, and you might too, but regardless we're both ****ing idiots compared to the people debating this theory.

Some of the evidence they argue over does make you think. It's pretty crazy shit.

virtuality is not illusion, its simply another form of reality.

however there is 1 thing that seperates virtuality from our reality - the general science, if you dig deep into how things work, you'll be able to seperate illusion from reality. Science explains how things work.

if we were to live in a virtual world that provided all the 5 senses, we'd still be able to figure it out if we were to explore and analyze that world.

OT: Reality and Illusion is based on a person's perspective. A person living in reality might think he is living in a Illusion due to bad circumstances. In the end, If we are living somewhere and are happy, it is irrelevant whether the world is an Illusion or an Reality.

What you say is possible, but there is literally Zero evidence to prove it.

If we are all idiots for debating this, then why did you make this thread in the first place ?

That is not what I said. I said we are idiots compared to the top minds debating this. There is evidence to support it, but it's defeinitly just a hypothesis. Not proven theory. Lol. If it were proven shit would change up
