there are some ways in real life to stop fire like cutting the supply of oxygen.Amaterasu is also a fire technique so if someone is hit by amaterasu he can simply lye down on floor and roll (trick used by fire fighters] which will not let the fire get oxygen and eventually it will just finish.

however the other way to stop amatersu is by projecting the flames off of you such as nagato did and possible a hyuga could do by using rotation which is chakra based and should push the flames off you and when the rotation disperses so should the amatersu as it has nothing to burn

How many times have you seen Amaterasu in a small enough portion of your chest or back to where laying down would be any effective. Besides, Amaterasu is inextinguishable like said multiple times now, only the users can deactivate it.

Amaterasu can burn anything to ash.it is never stop burning its itachi's very power full technique.

But it can be stopped by powefull defense such as 1. gara stopped it with his sand(chakra-infused sand)

2. it can be stopped by teleport jutsu such as A using body filcker technique some how saved himself

3. we have seen jiraya stopped it by sealing it

4. nagato using shinra tensei deflected the flames from his body

You must be joking. The Amaterasu was shown to be able to be put out by Amaterasu users, no one else. If it catches something on fire, it'll burn it until that thing is turned to nothing. The latter part of our post makes no sense either, since the battle took place on an island, so it might just as well have burned for seven days and seven nights. In an case, it hasn't been contradicted, meaning that the statement still stands.

You misinterpreted my post and what I am saying is, yes sealing & Kamui can get rid of the flames. But no other technique besides Preta path and the others i've bolded can get rid of the flames and that is why it is so dangerous. Preta path absorbs the Amaterasu because it is chakra.


By the way, there has been places on earth where there has been volcano activity/eruptions for days and much longer. It is impossible for Amaterasu to burn the whole world in seven days and it is ridiculous that you would say that. Are you forgetting islands, different mainlands and so on?
