Its an interesting theory; though the scan of Madara's EMS, is more likely to portray the genjutsu cast to control the Kyuubi being removed.

The heart is very slightly to the left, though. It's minimum distance. Madara's wound is not through the heart.

or Madara is among the very small number of humans who are born with their organs on the opposite side i.e. heart on the right side instead of his left....

or Hashirama wanted to prove a point by letting Madara know he is capable of killing even him...

or Hashirama was simply under a genjutsu and thought he killed Madara....

If he would have been stabbed through the heart no healing in the world could have saved him.

As for genjutsu, it's Tsukuyomi. There are few people in the world who can escape it. Anyway, it wasn't a strong genjutsu. Sasuke level genjutsu. Just enough to trick Hashirama into thinking he killed Madara.

This is a good theory. The only other reason for them having a close up of the EMS would be for dramatic effect
And we already know that Madara's MS techs are Tsukiyomi + (Unknown) + Susano. It fits I guess but wouldn't he use Tsukiyomi to actually win the battle?

He probably knows that he can't use it to defeat Hashirama so he used it in a Damage Control way. As in, trying to make the best out of the situation. He knew he needed Hashirama's DNA and he had it, so why bother winning? He probably planned on returning stronger than ever, with the Rinnegan, to kill Hashirama.

Hashirama died, though, and Madara took decades to awaken the Rinnegan.

The theory implies he used Tsukuyomi right after the Kyuubi was subdued.
