Didn't the second fight them when they tried a coup on him and the 2nd Raikage? Therefore Tobirama would have had at least some prior knowledge of their abilities. Also it is never actually mentioned how the Kin/Gin bros died. Its possible Tobirama killed them when he was acting as the decoy (he fought against the elite Kinkaku force). This is further suggested by the fact that Tobirama was sealed in the sealing gaud and therefore was able to be Edo summoned.

They were not of the Uchiha clan because the Kinkaku force was from another village and by Tobirama's rule the Uchiha were police for the Leaf. I am not making baseless assumptions since I actually cite where I am basing my information on. In the other hand you have zero basing to your assumptions.

Now don't get me wrong. I never said he was killed by fodder. The Kinkaku unit might have had the brothers, and the other members were ELITE ninja, so they would be powerful and unique. But based on how they nearly killed him once, just the brothers alone would have been enough to handle him with the air of a few extra ninja, and without the Raikage around. As for the other guy assuming he made them run for their life, we have no proof on that. Tobirama was beat up badly, and re-enforcements could have arrived. No need to over-complicate things and make far-fetched theories. If the manga said the brothers were enough to nearly kill the Hokage with the Raikage helping him, then they were no push overs themselves.

I think he got Defeated by Ginakaku & Kinakau Due to lack of Knowledge about Them just like How Jiraiya Lost against Pain.

Its Clear Pain himself said Jiraiya was Stronger & they Only won Cause they had this Seceret & I think only 2 or 3 Shinobi in history could have manage to def Pain without any Knowledge.

Ok give me the llink were its stated Tobirama got badly hurt by Ginakaku & Kinakaku.

Here is real deal Gin & Kin attacked Tobirama first time he didnt knew about there powers So he had tough time but then 2nd Raikage joined Gin & kin side to fight Tobirama. 3 vs 1 its Danger for anyone and in that a kage level ninja & Two Beast that is even worst. still Tobirama managed to beat them and Def. 2nd raikage. after that gin & kin had no chance against Tobirama so they run away. but 2nd Raikage used his Last special attack to kill Tobirama by Sacrificing his own life but Tobirama somehow Survived in bad condition.

^ Prediction like this make sense not Troll like you who thinks a hokage who was Brother of 1st hokage & also the strongest ninja of his Time (stated in manga) can be defeated by Kin & gin all by themself lol.

The time Gin and Kin defeated him they had 18 other skilled ninja under their command. Even if they didn't Gin and Kin combined are a match for any top tier shinobi, the only shinobi that would trash them 1v2 are gods like Rikudo Sennin or Demi Gods like Madara, Hashirama, BM Naruto, and Tobi.

1) it was an ambush
2) they can both enter 6 tailed mode..

There is nothing what so ever indicating he didn't know of them or their abilities..
The way the fourth raikage talks about them indicates they were very well known back then.... The fact that that day he didn't get sealed in their weapons shows that he atleast countered them or lived through them in some way.. Then again the raikage was also there and must have told him ...

not once is this ever established. and if they were part of the 20 man kinkaku squad why did tobirama have to rely on his knowledge on how they were trackign him to figure out who they were? why not just say "i sense kyuubi chakra. it must be those two bros who kicked my ass before"
