Note: I checked and haven't found any theory like this one. It's possible I missed one, but I haven't seen one, so
really sorry if I made a mistake. This is also the first theory I ever made so go easy on me.
Anyways, after viewing today's chapter, we can all see that Naruto breathed life back into Gai.
Basically, Naruto seems to have Yang release, where he has the ability to breathe life into others.
Now, people are stating how Gai will be in such a weakened condition, and never become the same.
That is a big possibility.
However, at the same time, if Naruto can breathe life into things, which is half of the Sage's powers, then
who has the other half of the Sage's powers? Sasuke does.
Sasuke probably has the ability to create new things. As a result, Sasuke will be able to recreate parts of Gai's body that deteoriated. With all of this, Gai can come back brand new and not become crippled.
These new powers may also allow Naruto and Sasuke to revive people like Neji, although that might never happen.
Conclusion: Naruto and Sasuke have half of the powers of Creation of All Things each, and together,
they can probably not only save Gai, but make him recover completely from all damages that the 8 Gates caused.
