THEORY: Hashirama’s best chance of being resurrected is through Senjutsu


I am NOT saying that Hashirama will be resurrected.
BUT… if he IS resurrected, it will most likely be through Senjutsu. I will elaborate (briefly) in this thread.













REVIEW: LORD OROCHIMARU’S RESURRECTION

In this manga, we learn that the rebirth of Orochimaru is possible, even though his soul is sealed in Itachi’s sword. This proves that Hashirama can “possibly” be resurrected even though his soul is sealed in the Death Reaper. Furthermore…

…Think about this: If Hashirama was a Sage (or atleast had Senjutsu Chakra) he could be brought back to life in the same manner that Lord Orochimaru was resurrected. As the Leader of the SENJU Clan, I believe it is highly possible that Hashirama had Senjutsu Chakra. It would be weird if no one from the SENJU Clan knew how to use Senjutsu in the Manga, especially the LEADER of the SENJU.

Also, it fits Kishi’s style of writing, that the Senju Leader be resurrected by his own clan’s technique.

In the manga above, Obito (Tobi) refers to the DNA as “something I grew from LIVING TISSUE I stole from him during our battle”. There was no need to prove this actually—Hashirama DNA has been used by multiple shinobi so we already know there is ample access to his DNA. But this (manga above) specifically shows the ROOT DNA that everyone has been using of his cells. This “body” (DNA) of Hashirama should suffice for use in his resurrection.

Note that this DNA is “living” tissue, the same manner that Kabuto used the “living” tissue of Lord Orochimaru, and the cells started taking over his body. The living tissue is so powerful that Kabuto says (Manga above) “Even now I’m desperately resisting the inevitable fate of being conquered!”

REQUIREMENT #2: “Senjutsu Chakra”

In the manga above, Orochimaru states something very important about the nature of Senjutsu Chakra. Orochimaru says that although he “was split from it (Senjutsu Chakra), his CONSCIOUSNESS also inhabited it”. This is the reason that Orochimaru was able to have knowledge about everything that was happening in the shinobi world while his soul was “sealed”. This means anyone who was able to successfully create Senjutsu Chakra also has pieces of his consciousness embedded within the new Chakra.

Consciousness + DNA = RESURRECTION

If any shinobi finds a way to get access to Hashirama’s Senjutsu Chakra (if it actually exists, of course) both his chakra and body could be used in his resurrection. Again, I am NOT saying that he will be revived for sure. But it’s interesting that Lord Orochimaru has now provided a possibility for reviving souls that have already been sealed. And also noted, Lord Orochimaru did this through the power of the SENJU. Interesting plot twist…


Bonus Note: This logic would also apply to ANY shinobi currently sealed. Yes, Death Reaper included! I only use hashirama as the prime example here because his DNA is everywhere, he is the Senju Clan LEADER (so he may actually have Senjutsu Chakra), and his presence may be needed in order to defeat Edo Madara.
The strongest shinobi in the world revived to help fight Edo Madara/Obito/Juubi… I LOVE THIS IDEA!!!

Hashiramas soul is not in his DNA like orochimaru he did not create curse seal jutsu like him... buti kinda get what ur saying and i hope for not only him the 4 dead hokages to come back and show their true power

orochimaru was not sealed via reaper death seal, thats how he was able to come back beccause itachi sealed him with with teh sword of totsuka, thats why when sauske brought him back he said he was
unconsiouns the whole time. even if hashirama had senjutsu chakra or whatever and someone brought him back or his clone, it still wont be HIM, it would be his body but not his memories,mind or soul
so it isnt him regardless

1. I know that Orochimaru wasnt sealed in the Death Reaper. But HIS SOUL WAS SEALED REGARDLESS, just inside of Itachi's sword. But the point of bringing that up is Orochimaru proved that if someone has your DNA & Consciousness, you can be reborn--regardless of if your soul has been sealed or not. Are you trying to say here that Orochimaru would not have been able to be revived if he was sealed inside the Death Reaper VS Itachi's sword? Because I disagree. He was able to be reborn because his consciousness also inhabited the Senjutsu Chakra, which matched with his DNA (Mind and Body) he was able to be reborn.

2. IF IF IF IF IF Hashirama had senjutsu chakra someone brought him back... IT WOULD BE HIM. Just like it truly IS Orochimaru that was resurrected. After resurrected, Orochimaru has all of his same memories, mind, aspirations, etc. IT WAS TRULY HIM. Part of his soul is still sealed in Itachi's sword and he was STILL resurrected, i believe this. But the senjutsu chakra is special, b/c it contains part of your own consciousness when a shinobi creates it.

This is what I think also. However it comes into the story, Madara keeps saying over and over that only hashirama can stop him!

But the reaper is just like any other seal, it can be broken! kisi has never said it cant be undone. maybe that is whats in the scroll.. idk maybe since the reaper appears to have a conscience, they could bargin with him to release Hash for a short period in exchange for say... Madaras soul!!!!

You said that "Hashiramas soul is not in his DNA like orochimaru..." but this is incorrect. Orochimaru's "soul" (soul = consciousness) was NEVER in his DNA. He needed his own DNA (from Kabuto) in order for his mind/consciousness/soul to have a body to inhabit.


DNA from Kabuto = Orochimaru's "BODY"
Soul from Senjutsu Chakra (inside Anko's curse mark) = Orochimaru's "SOUL" (consciousness)

I would like to now point out the fact that both OROCHIMARU and MADARA were able to pass on their consciousness after they "died". This strengthens my arguement that Hashirama can be resurrected through his DNA if someone finds any traces of his consciousness. This is literally opening the scene for his resurrection!!!
