ummmm, he was there dad troll. and yeah they do have simmillar features to there parents, dosent mean they have to look exact like them. sauske just looks like his mom more than his dad, but he has is dead hair just not the color. he has his height to. itachi has his dad face like those crack lines comming of his face.

Itachi is CLEARLY fugaku's son from the facial simularities (the tear dough, whatever its called). Also, what is the plot significance of this if it was true?

I dont think so, but it would be a weird twist in the plot. He might also be just Itachis father as that may be why he only showed so much interest in Itachis progress and not Sasuke.
