The only defense suitable against FTG is if someone already had suusano up since it is a constant offensive-defense
I would like to debunk this argument I saw in one of the threads. This same thread should have been bought up before multiple times, seeing how obvious this is. I haven't seen any, BTW. But, whenever an argument comes up, several people pop in and say Minato has no way to counter susanoo.

We have all seen that FTG has a teleportation radius...(1)

We have seen Gaara's sand go into the susanoo from ground to throw Madara out of it. This implies that inside of susanoo is penetrable..(2)

Susanoo is indeed a barrier, one strong enough to even tank TBBs but, we can get inside susanoo without confronting the barrier part, like through an opening. For a S/T ninjustsu, getting inside a barrier without confronting the 'barrier' part is a walk in the part. Its whole point is to surpass barriers of space and time...(3)

From (1), (2) and (3), its obvious that Minato can teleport inside the susanoo if he has a seal on the user or if he can throw a kunai somewhere near the susanoo.

In the end, even the perfect susanoo isnt much of a defense or offense against FTG.

I think what people mean when they refer to that argument though, is that FTG only teleports the user to a marked location. Unless the user marks the enemy BEFORE he activates Susanoo, theres no way FTG will work against Susanoo.

How does that help getting inside a susanoo?

The teleportation radius. Did you even read the thread. FTG has a teleportaion radius. By throwing FTG kunai near susanoo, he can teleport inside it.

Here, this is Minato's teleportation radius. Its just a matter of getting his kunai somewhere within this range of the susanoo.

maybe in normal susanoo case.perfect susano is absolute defense so i dont think so
Wouldnt work on stabilized susanoo though =/
Why? Its still a barrier when it comes to defensive purposes, a barrier that can tank TBB's, yes, but still a barrier.

FTG isnt even an attack to begin with. In case of PS no way of getting inside
Invalid argument. PS or not, susanoo for defensive purposes is a physical barrier. Minato has shown us that he can teleport entire armies out of freaking Juubi constricting barriers made by five kage. Why not a susanoo then? Moreover, after getting inside the susanoo, you can simply slice of the neck or use a rasengan, though what relevance that holds here is a mystery to me.

I dont think he teleported to that kunai in the scan

why do you think so? AS far as we know the only thing that can stop an FTG user from getting inside is a dimensional barrier. Like the kamui dimension
Because the user is completely sealed within high level defense such as susanoo. No ftg user can force a kunai or even their chakra inside it.

Thats the only kunai in the scan, so thats the kunai he teleported to. Moreover, how do you think he could have teleported the entire alliance out if he doesnt have a radius. We only saw one kunai outside to where they teleported him.

Even if you dont agree with these instances, there are also other occasions where he has established that there is a teleportation radius for Minato's FTG, like when he marked Tobi in the back, but teleported to him front during the invasion.

I agree at some point,
but some things like the "Teleportation radius" is yet to be proven
Evidence suggests so. Tobirama confirmed that he doesn't have a teleportation radius by telling that they cant use his FTG seal on Juubito again as he'll be careful to guard his backside. However, Minato marked Tobi in the back during the ninetails attack, but teleported to his front, in belie to what Tobirama said about his FTG, implying that Minato's infact has a radius. There is no concrete proof, yes, but its more likely than not.

Sorry to spoil your fun, but we all know that Minato has to mark his target, if he didn't then he won't have needed anyone during the Iwa war, so no teleportation field there. And i highly doubt FTG works on PS, although it may be debatable to a small degree
