There is a part of the hachibi in the kamui world.

Hachibi cut off an arm to preserve Bee. Bee is out of commission because he only retained about 10% of the Hachibi. He would never die as an off panel. He is an extremely important character for the plot development of Naruto

I don't think he's dead, but for completely different reasons. It's more from a compairative point of view.

Naruto just survived somehing that basically should've killed him, because he has an extraoridinairy biology, thanks to his mother Kushina, who also didn't die after the bijuu extraction, because of their clan's excelent sealing skills.

Compaired to Bee, Naruto is an inexperienced Jinchuuriki. Bee has been called the most skilled or talented Jinchuuriki, he controled his bijuu, and had an unbelievable control of it powers, insead of the power controlling him, as is/was the case with Naruto.

If Naruto is able to survive an extraction, Bee might be able to as well.
