So basically it has been revealed that within the movie 'Road To Ninja' Tobi (or the masked man rather) is succesful in his activation of what a manga panel described as 'Limited Tsukuyomi'...Everyone knows about the characters within the series being altered in this alternate universe and that Naruto and Sakura are going to be the only two normal people (as far as it seems)...
so my theory is:
The Illusion that this world is set in, is the illusion that Tobi described to Naruto and the Kage's that would be in his Moonseye plan...a world without fear and war and destruction where everything is 'perfect'...
It makes sense as it seems everything has been better in this alternate universe that we have seen - almost everyone is a projection of who they almost 'would rather' be... (or the alternative version of what we expect them to be...)
Ultimately i think that the ending of road to ninja will be Naruto breaking from the genjutsu, fighting the beleif that everything around him is real and that he needs to accept everything that has happened in the REAL world and fight off the illusion of a seemingly perfect world that Tobi wishes to seek...
It could be that Tobi in Cannon manga actually needs convincing that there is any good in the world - and that his infinite Tsukuyomi is actually needed to solve the world with some form of illusion, Tobi doesnt SEEM to GENUINLY want the end of the world, or total power - otherwise he would have attempted to gain the full 10 tails -which he might not be able to do now that hes put 9 and 8 tails into the gedo in an incomplete form...
