We all know that the Nunoboku is the legendary sword the Rikudou Sennin used in order to create the world as stated from Obito
I don't think it created the world but I think with that the Sage was able to finally defeat the juubi and seal him.I think that might be the strongest weapon of the Narutoverse and It was broken by a Susanoo Sword mixed with some senjutsu !? That doesnt seem right does it ???
But there it says something like this
Obito says the spirit and soul of the Sage permit through the blade but I think he is wrong the blade gets it's power by the will and determination of the user if he has a strong enough will and determination he can defeat everything with that blade.
At the momment Obito saw Narutos friends he was doubting his actions.
He started thinking how it would be if obito didn't go with Madara and returned to konoha to become Hokage
And at the moment the blades made contact it saw that Naruto's path had no doubts and his will was stronger so the blade Nunoboku lost it's power since the will of the opponent was stronger than the one of the user so the blade shattered.
