Theory about Shinra Tensei.

Since both Sasuke and Madara didnt use them I got 2 theroies about shinra tensei :

1. First theory is that you need rinnegan in both eyes for example some jutsus need both eye like susanoo, so maybe that is reason why sasuke cant use (so far ).

Then Madara ,when he was edo he did not really need shihra tensei since he was playing all times because he was edo.
When revived most of his fight with Sasuke and Naruto he only had 1 rinnegan and when he recieved another he only used limbos and then he activated IT so there was no need fo shinra tensei.

2. My second theory is that just like MS everysy rinnegan user has ability that only he could do.
For example every MS user can use susanoo but other powers are not same Itachi has amaterasu and tsukuyomi, Sasuke amaterasu and enton, Obito kamui, Shisui kotoamatsukami and so.

So I belive that only Nagato could use shinra tensei just like only Madara can use limbo and Sasuke his teleportation

I mean shinra tensei is one of hell of a jutsu it can deflect amaterasu, rasenshuriken destroy Konoha.
Naruto needed more trouble to defeat last pain than others together.


If Madara and Sasuke could use shinra tensei than that is one of the biggest plot hole in entire manga, I mean there was much situation when they could use them.

i agree with you but a lot of sasuke fapboys seems to think the fact that shinra tensei and chibaku tensei are from the same path, and madara and sasuke both had chibaku tensei then they should have shinra tensei... +rep for you

Having one rinnegahn doesn't mean you can't use all rikudou justus.

Sasuke is just doing the techniques that he has seen, so expect chibakui tensei variations and Perfect Susanoo.

Both shinra tensei and chibaku tensei fall under deva path. If madara could perform CT it's not a stretch to think he could perform ST as well. Kishi just didn't want madara to use it. From what we've seen so far, it seems that abilities that are unique to an individual's rinnegan such as sasuke's rinnegan shift, kaguya's dimension shift and madara's limbo are not path abilities.

Both are done using the Deva Path's ability to manipulate gravity so duh.

OT: Sasuke and Itachi have the same MS abilities with different levels of skill, so I disagree.

yes but in one eye itachi has amaterasu and in another he has tsukuyomi
while sasuke has amaterasu and enton. sasuke didnt show that he has tsukuyomi

I've had this argument far too many times, so I'll just summarize:

1. Itachi showed weak signs of Kagutsuchi(this is the MS tech, Enton isn't a technique it's a nature release) when he put out the Amaterasu on Sasuke's body during their fight.

2. Sasuke showed Tsukiyomi against Killer Bee. Amaterasu is cast by his left eye, and the Genjutsu he used against Bee was done with his right eye. The Genjutsu had an inverted color scale, and Tsukiyomi is the only Genjutsu that does that.

Danzo also alluded to Sasuke having Tsukiyomi during their fight when he said "Your usage pails in comparison to Itachi's because Itachi can manipulate the perception of time and you can't." If the Genjutsu Sasuke used was any generic genjutsu, and not Tsukiyomi, why would Danzo mention Tsukiyomi specifically when Itachi has many more that are more known? It makes no sense that Danzo would mention how Sasuke failed to manipulate time if he was using a jutsu where it'd be impossible to manipulate time in the first place. It'd be like saying to Tsunade "You're inferior to Orochimaru because your usage of fists can't slice through things, while his sword can."

Mastery of the ST?? Nagato had 30-40 yrs or so to master. Madara had his eyes for a shorter amount of time... and why focus on Rinnegan for him? His mastery of the EMS is superb. A master of the stone vs novice with a shuriken type of thing??

Believe in due time Sauce can use it... BUT... it would become rather lame if everybody spams the same tech no?

1. you dont need both eyes (2 Sharingan) for Susano'o - Madara performed it with no eyes, and Sasuke has been using it with 1 Sharingan . . .

2. Danzo had Izinagi, but his Sharingan was kept secret. even so, Itachi had in depth knowledge of how it works, so Izinagi being unique to one Uchicha is unlikely. Madara can perform Tsukuyomi like Itachi etc. also, we are exposed to only a few Uchiha. to determine just exactly how MS skills/jutstu are acquired or distributed amongst all Uchiha based on which skills/jutsu these few either chose to use is statistically flawed - cos we have no way of telling if they DIDNT use other skills/jutsu possible with the MS cos they didnt know how yet; or simply prefer to use what theyre more accustomed to; or if what they DONT use is impossible for them to perform at all, as you are suggesting . . .

however, I dont disagree completely: perhaps Rinnegan grants access to different INNITIAL jutsu in each path for different users, meaning all the other jutsu from the same path CAN be awoken by all Rinnegan eventually - or maybe all justu from all paths are possible from the start, but each Rinnegan user has their own selection of Rinnegan tech that comes naturally to them

How can Nagato have shinra tensei as a special ability with Madara's Rinnegan? If that was the case then Kakashi or Obito wouldn't both have Kamui and shinra tensei is a six paths jutsu it's not original like Sasuke's S/T or Madara's Limbo.
