blinding of sharingan is not healing problem i believe mangekyo sharingan blindness is something to do with quality of the chakra and body to handle it and i believe blindness was never a case in indra's case because of being of sage's son and more potent chakra and due to thinning of the bloodline even the ability prevailed the body strength was crippled to a point where it goes blind and i believe mokuton can enhance the power and reduce the deteriorating eyesight as seen in obito's case.
