When something goed faster than 25.000 Miles per hour, the hydrogen will evaporate and burst into flames. Just like a comet.

So maybe luffy vibrates is arm above that speed (we cant see it) and evaporates his sweat from gear 2

That also explains why he could do it underwater

What do you guys think?

It's Ace's flame. I already came up with a theory on how it's possible, but I have been too lazy to post it.

A simpler way....when Luffy uses G2, his body temperature rises so maybe the heat in his arm gets so high that it burst into flames and CoA keeps it from burning.....

this... It doesn't seem too far off considering most of luffy's stronger attacks are harmful to his body

It's luffy's CoC, I feel he can generate the elements with his CoC, at least fire and lightning.

I don't think ANIME uses these logics.

They do at times. Series like One Piece and especially Toriko have a lot of science elements to them. Not all of the time but for most part yeah.

OT: I agree with Vandenre1ch's post.

i think because rubber is highly flammable so his sweat will also be, it gets hot enough and bursts in to flames.

While that could be possible, people really need to abandon trying to explain fictional creations with science. I mean, the closest thing to science in One Piece is namis climatact and even that is far from realistic.

When something is going extremely fast it can produce fire and that's what the RedHawk represents here nothing else it's pretty simple to understand not sure why this thread is needed.

It's Ace's flame. I already came up with a theory on how it's possible, but I have been too lazy to post it.
This would make 0 sense at all. RedHawk has nothing to do with Ace at all.

Its what Oda conveyed and what was said in the 3d2y special. Like I said I have come up with an explanation, but it would take time to put together

It deals with the whole principle of inheriting wills.

I still don't think ANIME uses depth science logic but in case of red hawk, g2 produces high temp steam and when luffy coats his hand with armanent haki, it burns it resulting flames.
