I noticed that the Elder sons Dojutsu

looks exactly like the uzumaki symbol

So where I'm getting at is what if the dojutsu the elder son had, could seal people. The symbol's match up so I think its a possibility.

Of course its the precursor to the byakugan and sharingan however one can only speculate so much. I like to bring evidence to the table no matter how miniscule it is. I do think its interesting that the dojutsu and sealing symbols match not to mention the best sealers in the entire manga use that symbol.

Well its the precursor technically speaking, but it seems to be its own unique dojutsu. It was said that he had the eyes of rikudo yet its clearly not a rinnegan. Maybe it was tainted by hatred as the uchiha's are referred to as a cursed lineage.

Anyways interesting note! If that's the case then it could deffinatly help explain why compared to Madara, Itachi, and Sasuke....Obito has Kamui (acts like that of a sealing technique as car as demensional sealing goes).

It's funny ad it looks like a Byakugan with a swirl lol wish it was a Byakugan evolution....but sadly Kishi likes to be mean to the Byakugan XD!

Well both Byakugan and Uchiha share the same bloodline. However Byakugan means towards the sun (most hyuuga's are not hateful) while sharingan users have a curse of hatred (equates to darkness) so I believe the uchiha branched out and left their hate behind and thus gave birth to the byakugan. I don't think kamui looks like the uzumaki symbol I'll have to check it out though.

Nice theory. Yes, the symbols look similar, but if you look closely they are not EXACTLY the same. Uzumaki symbol has a lot less actual spirals when compared to the picture of the Elder son's eye doujutsu.

Elder Son -> powerful chakra & spiritual energy (Uchiha)
Younger Son -> powerful body/life force (Senju/Uzumaki)

I think it would be a little too optimistic for there to be any relation whatsoever between Elder Son's EYE Doujutsu and the Uzumaki. Who knows. They may or may not be related but again, nice theory.

That's true it has one more spiral. However I think its more then just a coincidence that they both look nearly the same.

I'm sorry I was reffering to the fact that Kamui even exists!!!! It basically creates an alternate demension in which items can be stored...almost like a sealing type situation which the Uzumaki specialized in! Now that you mention it the effect around Kamui is a tad spirally!

As far as the Hyuga goes I agree...Probably split off even before the Uchiha even became "the Uchiha". A diversion in the branch line forming a clan before the main bloodline even became the Uchiha clan...could explain why the Hyuga are called Konoha's oldest clan...also why some believed the Sharingan came form the Byakugan.

Lol Hinata is one of my favorites so I knew the whole Towards the Sun thing XD! I would imagine that they tossed aside the sensless ambition of hate, but the whole Main and Side branch hate still lingered until Naruto fixed it XD!!! Still hoping for some Byakugan developlement or at least a little more on its history....that way people can't flame one way or another where or what mutated from what!
