A good friend of mine and I were discussing some possibilities/ questions that might exists at this point, and or some future events to come. Let me (us) know what you think...
1. Orochimaru's Motives
After Sasuke made his decision, Hiruzen asked what Orochimaru would do? Look here at his facial expression :
Sketchy much? Hiruzen later asks Orochimaru why he joined Sasuke in protecting the village after he tried to destroy it (seems legit) :
So does his reason to join the war makes sense, expecially after he said earlier in the manga that he has no interest in the war? I think we all know without me saying, we have never really been able to trust Orochimaru, and he has always surprised us in his strength. When he fought Sasuke in the Chunin Exams, we thought he was beast...when he partially destroyed the village and killed Hiruzen we thought he was beast....when he fought Tsunade and Jiraya, we thought he was beast....when he fought Naruto in 4-tails mode we thought he was beast, and he yet again appeared once Sasuke exhausted all his chakra fighting Itachi. I understand the level of jutsu and the big names on the battle field right now, but I think it'd be a mistake to consider Orochimaru weak at this point. If you remember back in the tales of Jiraya, when Jiraya, Tsunade and Oro were at the grave of Dan, and Jiraya asked him what his goal was, and he said to master every justu in the world. Sound like a familiar ocular prowess? Sounds like the powers obtained from the Rinnegan to me, but I could be wrong. Let me clarify, I do not wish or hope that Oro gets the Rinnegan. Maybe that is why Orochimaru is heading to the battle field for. We also have to remember that Orochimaru knows pretty much everything about everyone and every jutsu, so it wouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility to consider he would know how to obtain the Rinnegan. From what I've heard on these forms quite often, you have to have Uchiha and Senju DNA, if that is so, could Oro have obtained Sasuke DNA while he was his "apprentice?" And did you notice how Oro obtained a Zetsu body after performing the ceremony to revive the 5 Hokages? :
Could this have given him Senju DNA and therefor completing the requirements of obtaining the Rinnegan? Thoughts?
2. Future events
At this point, it seems like the match-up is Madera, Obito, 10-tails VS Narutoverse. Does this seems a bit OP? Or is there a possibility of a third battle opening up, and or more people joining Madera and Obito? We can't forget that Orochimaru still has 2-4th Hokage's under Edo Tensei still...knowing this, could Orochimaru be twisted enough to engage his Edo on Minato to fight Naruto? Or Tobirama against Hashirama? And Hiruzen against....:NO: Haha, not sure who Oro could pit him against, but I just wanted to open this up for discussion because I don't trust that Oro snake for one second. Thoughts?
