Hypothetically, if Sasuke won the fight, (which he probably wont), but if he did and ruled over, i think he would get more people to help him and he would select a hokage for the hidden leaf and instead of just killing people that oppose him, i think he would just take them down but not necessarily kill them, like he when he used to when he was "Hebi" sasuke, but nonetheless i don't entirely agree with what Sasuke's doing

When did he say he would kill any who do not obey him?

The only time he mention killing people was
1. The Biju, which is understandable given their violent history

Who says they would know the truth?

Sasuke could easily say that it was Madara who killed them all, and that he killed Madara while he was in a moment of weakness. They would have to accept that as fact because they have no evidence to prove otherwise.
