We have seen in the manga times without numbers not to believe in hype,and not to accept a statement that has been verified by only one shinobi. First let me state the following points
1.It was stated that the amaterasu was instant, yet sasuke was playing catch up with it.
2.It was also stated that the amaterasu incinerate anything it touches, that has been violated too many times
3.It was stated that the susanno is impenetrable, that has also been violated
4.Before the juubi was revived, they said one slash of his tail can crush a mountain
5.Itachi made us believe the only way to awaken MS is to kill a best friend, and it turned out he himself didn't even do that.
6.It was stated before that minato created FTG, turns out it is tobirama's technique
So many other things has been said which became hype or false, now that leads me to the yata mirror, zetsu said the yata mirror negates all attack, yet when itachi was revived as an edo, infinite chakra, no draw backs from excess use of MS, he didn't use it once despite using the susanoo most of the times. If the yata mirror was that strong, he would have used it in one circumstance at least against nagato or kabuto. Especially in his fight against kabuto, he would have died if he wasn't edo or if sasuke wasn't there, why didn't he use the yata mirror then?? It may be powerful, but it isn't as powerful as the hype, the user himself stated every jutsu has a weak point(yata mirror included), besides only zetsu has verified the yata mirror, no other person, it may well turn out he hyped it like he did to naruto, saying SM Naruto>Nagato.
I need concrete arguments

I'm sure Yata is very protective, but never believe hyperboles. It has weaknesses and drawbacks, everything ultimately does. Hell, Itachi said that himself, and Yata belonged to him. He knows.
