Endowed with all nature transformations, it can change its own characteristics depending on the characteristics of the attack it receives, making the technique ineffective."

That's its true power. The rest is just hyperbole because had it lived up to that hyperbole, there wouldn't have been a scratch on Itachi when Kirin hit but as it turns out, his cloak was destroyed and his body badly damaged.

Has the capacity to alter its attributes, that doesn't mean that it can match every attack.
Every human have the capacity to become smart, but every human isn't smart.
And it's a DB statement, the DB stated that Amaterasu was inextinguishable, that Temari had the power to blow the universe...

BZ stated that HE HEARD that this mirror was invincible, who told him that?

The real fact is that the Yata mirror was able to block explosive kunais...BZ and DB know how to create hype.

i can appreciate the effort about the background of the shields info. however you need to understand that this was considered one of the legendary tools that works hand in hand with the gourd. if this tool deems helpful in combat then the user is protected by all means. I did not agree to how you specifically interpreted what the databook claims in your own words. There was nothing said specific about its ability for the user to knowingly match the element. You forget that susanoo is an armor that uses legendary weapons to further protect the user. If you talk about specifics then that may be plausible but still not proven. Its not misleading for anyone because the yata mirror was never used much in the series. This forum is fan based and is open to discussion about it so if you think were misled, dont bother with it.

you will indeed only waste your time. I am neutral about the topic. the only thing i can agree with is that this weapon is OP from what we have seen.
