Jean DID solo apocalypse, but it was a distracted and vulnerable apocalypse. He was completely invulnerable to every other assault on him, but a full-powered phoenix soloed him simply by taking advantage of him being distracted, more or less.

Quicksilver was that badass in the previous movie, that didn't change. Jean was also that strong in full-phoenix mode. Neither of them received powerups from Apocalypse, but I'm just saying they are not OP in this movie alone, just overall. Both Magneto and the Professor's powerups are most likely temporary, as nothing that took place after this would make sense if they were.

The only mutant who's power up seemed permanent was Storm's ie her white hair. Her power was on a much lower scale though, so maybe it remained for that reason. If Magneto and the Professor's power ups are permanent.... that would be far too outlandish.

I don't think you understood the movie.

That's how fast speedsters are supposed to be, they actually got that right AoU and Flash keep their speedsters way too slow for logic.

Xavier and Magneto were boosted by Apocalypse so no Xavier can't mind control the planet without Cerebro unless he's possessed and Magneto can't destroy the planet.

Jean isn't more powerful than the professor yet either, the Phoenix Force was and that's what beat Apocalypse.

I agree, that speed feat isn't really OP when their are other Marvel characters that can break the sound barrier or circle the globe on foot in minutes but it was dope to see Quick Silver move so fast.

In the context of the movie this is true but if we're talking comic book context they both have the potential to do both of those things without their mutations being evolved & amplified.

Charles has the experience and technique so to say but her unrefined telepathy competes.

Could be or that was an irreversible effect like Charles losing his hair. Hair is a genetic thing and once a change takes place it can't revert so it's not really a safe evidence to base a claim on. Their powers may still be there though we'll have to wait and see but it's unlikely.

Compared to other jean is completely broken character she is a human and at the same time entity of all life infinitely powerful WTF logic Man, seriously powerscale is ridiculous in marvel comics man most of them are universal level with no reason and where did they get that power from is a mystery. rebooting the marvel universe was a better option and yeah wanna see pre retcon beyonder in movies that would be awesome second strongest in marvel after TOAA himself.
