The women in Naruto have terrible character.
Kin- the 1st female villain, from the sound team. Sound team were super deadly..Zaku had air blast that could obliterate, Dosu had sound waves that could knock you out, Kin had...needles with bells attached. lmao. Nobody gave two sh!Ts about her, and her technique was trash.
Ino- Desperate Sasuke fangirl number #43. In terms of any ninja technique, she is only good at ONE THING, mind transfer jutsu. But then again, her ENTIRE clan can do it..she was just chosen randomly out of the bunch to be a main. At least she is more logical than Sakura and grew up, getting over Sasuke.
TenTen- Supposedly kishi's favorite female. Has had no real play. Her 1st time to really showcase her skills, was off paneled..I mean, you give Chouji some panel time and he was defeated rather easily. EVERYONE else had their battle, but it came to her, and NOPE. Show us why she made it on team Guy..because compared to Neji and Lee, tenten might as well have been a piece of wood used for substitution. Her techniques are nothing to a decently skilled ninja.
Sakura- Constantly crying, b!tch!ng and moaning over the same thing. Always shouting she has changed, only to prove not to have. She is basically an EXACT copy of Tsunade. At least a twist could have been added. I mean, Sasuke trained by Oro, and he wasn't an exact copy, Naruto trained by Jiraya, he was no exact copy. At least give Sakura something that differentiates her from Tsunade skill-wise. Also, she STILL "LOVES" Sasuke...WHY? he has never done anything for her. I can understand that as 12 year olds, she only liked him because of his looks, but really, after seeing Naruto and all that he has done for her and shows that he cares, she knows what its like to have someone really love her...yet she hasn't learned that there is no merit for her to love sasuke. To me, it seems like she has the Asian persuasion and is desperate.
Kurenai- The ONLY female ninja in the show to not let romance fuq up her mind. Genjutsu specialist, and is a skilled FEMALE, she had all the makings to be a decently main female character and a good role model for the lost females in Konoha...but kishi had one thing that couldn't be stopped, had to make her pregnant, making her unfit for duty.
Karui- Spunky firecracker who was trained by the killerbee himself...good kenjutsu skills and was an actual black person. But of course, constant OP upgrades are far more interesting than a completely original character who has shown to bring a new fighting style to the table. Another waste of a character design.
Karin- one of the rare Uzumaki. She was sought by Orochimaru and Sasuke alike for her power. But as it turns out, she is hardly anything special. Yeah, she is a really good sensor, but she aint the best. Stupid way of healing, if her chakra heals, why cant she just use it as any other healer does, by does someone need to bite her? and why does she have bite marks on her chest...? Healing orgy or nah? As a rare uzumaki woman, I hoped that she would be able to shed light on some rare fuuinjutsu...but no. ALSO, she is a Sasuke fangirl #1. Dude literally tried to kill her twice and....she still loves him because..............
Tsunade- The 1st female Hokage, and the one who created the medical ninja teachings, and team formations consisting of Medics. She has one of the best summons. But as a character, she is lame, fitting the stereotype how all women want to look young, they make her out to be an old fragile woman, when Jiraya, is the same age, and he isn't frail, then we have Sarutobi who is even older than him, and he looks good for a old useless monkey. Also, a drinking problem AND a gambling problem..holy crap..double problem. Tsunade is UNDATEABLE. Kish made sure their would be no paring wars with her.
Mei- 1st female Mizukage, has multiple chakra affinity which makes her have two separate KKG (correct me if I am wrong.) With all the possible techs, everything she has shown has no been impressive, and is jounin level at best. Not only that, but she fits in with the mentally screwed up women kishi likes to put in place. Not only is she partly deaf, she seemingly has boy crushes, and a bit of an Asian persuasion as well, and has shown that if something is too difficult as a kage, she is willing to give up, as shown when facing Perfect Susanoo, as a kage, you have to stay. She needs to be impeached, shes is an example of a terrible leader.
Temari- Hailed as the best wind user of the series, even if all she uses is a huge heavy battle fan. Even if her attacks can be seen from far away, she is still the best. Finally, a woman who isnt ruled by her emotions, and is logical and smart and even gives shikamaru, one of the smartest men in the show, a run for his money. Finally, a woman who is what a ninja should be. Until Naruto, a male, came in with ONE technique. That ONE technique put him up there as number 1 wind user, placed temari as a mere second placer, even though she has trained her whole ninja life in wind and has multiple wind techs. Shows that no matter how good a woman is, all it takes is for a man to have ONE good thing to be put above her.
Hinata- A member of one of the most powerful clans in the show, and wields the powerful byakugan, originating from Kaguya herself. But because she is a female lead, she has to be weak, and also lead by her emotions. I must say, at least she has shown growth, and learned from her past. As a character, she has grown. But she is still weak in my book.
Konan- a member of the highly dangerous criminal organization. I honesly thought she would be a very devilishly powerful female main villain. Especially since she was introduced so late and was partnered with the figure head of akatsuki. Turns out, the only reason she was paired with him was because they were bestfriends..her ablity wasn't really creative compared to the rest of akatsuki, and she didn't really seem like s-class threat. I mean, Jiraya had her beat within a few seconds. She was a huge let down and just shows that a woman dosent have to be anything skilled, just know the right person, she would make a nice trophy for a leader.
Kushina- The 2nd jinchuuriki of Kurama, and Naruto's mother. so much potential, but all her screentime is of her being pregnant.
