The Winter Spirit(rap/poem)
I found a forest held by winters palms,
And in a soft song, I heard it whisper somethin' long..
Here I'm seeking for its heart,i heard its pulsing rhythm
As i walked in further, It turned me into its victim
in this charm i paused then stopped for a second
stuck in a gaze of this exquisite spirit, lost expression.
She darted back, into the woods,the ones where olives grew
the leaves were thicker, then she whispered, "come follow me through"
so I did; Then we ran through the most beautiful grove
Until the passage opened up into bluest cove.
the strangest creatures bathed inside of lakes, of waters
My heart and soul where yearning to stay in her presence longer
watching her sparkle as the light shed its rays of gold
And so I begged her, "Let me stay", but then her face went cold-
Whisperin..
"Im hurt to see you go but we must pull apart;
'Cause now your body calls your conscious back into the dark
-My soul must now retreat, the sun comes up instead.
my friend, I promise we will meet..when Winter comes again
