Years ago, Hinata was already able to see 10 km at least with her Byakugan. So what can we imagine when we are talking about its original user, Kaguya?! Zetsu used his Byakugan already and it's pretty much connected to his "I'm the land itself" comment.

Since Shintenshin worked, I think Sharingan techniques could work, too.

A bykagaun able to use genjutsu from thousands of miles away is a scary thought ,im not sure what to make of the sage creating the moon still awaiting confirmation but yes this is plausible
