The Way in which a Naruto MMORPG like SWTOR could work

well, when a Naruto MMORPG is talked about, people always say but people will chose to have a really cool kekkie genkai, and such, and then some would say, it could be randomized, but then, that really isnt fair.

but, what if you could work towards it, like we have here in the the NBRPG. like, you can choose different paths that will allow you to meet certain requirements for a kekkie genkai. like

for unlocking the sharingan, you would have to train your normal character in a Certain level for Genjutsu.
but you would have to be a normal ninja, not a nara, not a akimichi etc. so basically no clans


well, what do you think????? could this solve the NARUTO MMORPG problem???

oh and to unlock things quicker, you could pay to have it

From what I can tell, one flaw with your idea is that only Uchiha can have the Sharingan, so how could your clan not be Uchiha if you want to "work towards it?"

Also, I don't think it'd be difficult to balance all the kekkei genkai. When you have a big team of people working on something, cool things tend to happen, and problems tend to get solved.

In the end, I think it just goes down to a matter of taste. Byakugan fills defensive/utility niches. Sharingan is sheer offense. The list goes on.

A Naruto MMO has a lot of potential. Just needs the right amount of smart and hard working people to try to make it work, and hopefully not turn it into a "Pay 5$ for this cookie or this kitten or this dildo" MMO like you see all the friggin' Asians are making nowadays.

MMO's or normal games based on Anime or IRL films normally fail hard.
