[Discussion] The war arc is not a disappointment

I know most of us think that we have been trolled in nearly all the battles that has taken place in the war but just calm down and wait guys. Because the war arc is meant to be like the greatest arc in the Naruto series I think we all have forgotten were reading a manga. The manga is about getting the story across and all the important events that happen during the story. I think because the war arc is so awesome we have forgotten we are reading a manga and think were watching the anime or something. :shrug:

Kishi can not draw every step, punch and sword swing of every character who is fighting in the war arc it would take forever. This is why it is the job of the anime to fill in all the action of this war that was not shown in the manga. The anime brings the manga to life, this is the story as well as the action. Those emotional scenes that are present in the manga are recreated in the anime with the right music and so on.

What everyone has forgotten is intense fast paced battles in the manga has always been trolled. Look at this:

You see the bit where there battling on the tree, we just see lines of there speed and one panel at the bottom of their clash. Don't you feel trolled ??

well look at what the anime did (watch to 1:48 - 2.00 and 4:15 - around 4:45 ish only NOT THE WHOLE THING)



Let me answer my question for you NO you don't feel trolled because you don't really care lol. But when this happens in the war arc like because we want to see everything that happens in a battle you do feel trolled because were so excited about this war and want to see EVERYTHING NOW !

Were so excited we have forgotten the manga is not for action the anime is, so all I'm saying guys is just be patient the war is starting soon in the anime.

Now to answer some more problems such as the Kakashi rampage, THIS WASN'T SHOWN AT ALL !! and a few more battle conclusions. Well rest assure people these things are most likely to be shown in the anime and I will tell you why.

During the war arc in the anime the manga will still be going, this means that there will have to be fillers so the anime doesn't catch up with the manga. So in the war arc how will there be fillers you may ask ? Well my answer is that we will probably see these battle conclusions that we never saw in the manga (the kakashi rampage and other battles) in the anime, this will consume episodes and pre-long the anime which in it's own right will be fillers.

As you can see in the new Naruto opening there are scene's which are complete bull Sh*t of the war, this shows you things can be made up and added into the anime which im sure during the war arc we will see all the battles we did see recreated and all the battles we didn't see in the anime created which will be awesome. (WE HOPE xd) And if not then yh we were trolled.

Lets face it the only GOOD fight in Naruto series is the vid you posted above. That fight was amazing (could have been better if the talking and the thinking stoped) but it was an amazing fight. Best one in my opinion.

that and the anime introduced some new filler arc edos i was hoping they'd do soemthing like sora vs his edo'd father

I think people are expecting to much of the manga I don't blame them the war arc is exciting but were not going to see every sword swing.

I am not much disappointed in the war arc, though it is going too fast and has just recently slowed down.

But I don't think those animators will actually have any brain to add things to the war and make it interesting. If they indeed added things then it would be dreadful ..

I hope they will make upcoming episode interesting..wease: That is my wish..

For example watch the fight of Konan vs Tobi. After he stabs her she has a couple moves and they go at it, pretty well which they did not show in the manga.

Not because of the fight scenes, but because of how they happened. Like Kakashi's rampage, the BS he pulled with kinkaku and ginkaku's backstory. Chakra meat? etc.

The war is still disappointing to me because it had potential to show the other nations and the other characters. But we barely got to see any of that, and now that Naruto is on the battle field it would be pretty hard to incorporate that into the storyline now.

I agree with your thread the kinkaku and ginkaku's backstory is the biggest BS I have ever seen in the naruto series it was really lame.

And as for character development I feel they will do more in the anime because during the war arc in the anime there will have to be fillers and I believe these fillers will add to the war arc. We just have to hope it's good

I actually stopped reading the war after Gaara had his fight with his dad and decided that it wasn't meant to be in manga form so i'm still waiting for it to play out and surprise me in anime form- is there a lot of the war left after this Gaara fight?

Yh there is, shit gets real lol but yh there's a lot still going on. And I would love to do that and wait for the anime but I can't control my self xd so I keep reading every manga chapter that comes out

Well said: rep++. I've mostly enjoyed the war, excepting a couple chapters here and there, the bit with the Kin-Gin bros being probably the biggest disappointment -- not sure what the point of their introduction was.

I just hope you're right about the animators incorporating these un-shown battles as filler material, but I won't hold my breath -- at the rate the anime is progressing, it'll likely be 3-4 years before we see (if we see) Kakashi's fight.

War arc is pretty sick. Probably my 2nd fav arc in the series. The first being chunin exams and 3rd being sasuke retrieval.
