The war arc is good?

Not really. It has occasional good moments but other that it's mainly consisted of uneccesary survivals, Naruto's Gary Stu speeches, the alliance getting hyped to do absolutely nothing, uneeded fan service from the 4 Hokages, Hinata fawning over Naruto, Neji being picked off by a toothpick, a piss-poor excuse of a God (Juubi), Sasuke having issues and an overwhelming superiority complex from Madara.

Other than, there have been some alright moments.

Aside from a few moments I don't like, I really do love this arc. It shows wars at their "finest"; long, tedious, head-ache-inducing, bloody, and trolling.

Best arc ever.

I love the manga and the anime but I think that the war arc is a victim of having too many characters. Many of the good ones have got lost along the way. Shikamaru is too good at strategy to not have him involved now that HQ was taken out. He should be strategizing how to get rid of Spiral Zetsu or he should be with Naruto and Sasuke trying to help them to come up with ways to defeat Madara. There has been enough time that they should be able to get communication back up on both battlefields again. It seems as though no one is in charge anymore.
