The war arc is dissappointing

As the title says,I really didn't like the war arc.The battles were pretty good,but there is a fact that bothers me.So Kishi said that in the first day 40.000 shinobi died.I can safely assume that at night and at the second day of war,15.000-20.000 or maybe more died.

So how is it possible that 60.000 shinobi died,but no important character?I mean...they sealed Deidara,Sasori,Kakuzu,Asuma and all those powerful characters so easy?Someone should have died,because this is how war is.

Now I see that Madara came and the kages are alive.I really wanted Madara to kill 1-2 kages to make the war look interesting.So,in conclusion,if 5-6 important good characters won't die,then the war is a joke and it will make Naruto look like a kid's manga.

Really think about it, in wars, generals and important people barely die, and then ten skilled chunin and jonin not dying isn't out of the question, in a story, you don't kill people for the sake of it, you kill them because they will have an impact on the story, and Kishi doesn't feel he has gotten to the point where killing someone would have any impact.

We don't even know about the kages. We'll get a flashback next week probably when Naruto asks what happened to them.

One I believe it was a clone that appeared with Tobi. And your not the first person to complain about the same exact thing... and I don't think it will be at kids Monica just because the way the war went. I feel like you're just whining because it's not going the way you wanted it to go

Why did you think it was easier for the ASF to deal with akatsuki this time around?
It's because the ASF shared info. about those members amongst themselves ,not to mention that they've encountered them before ,so one would imagine that it would be easier for them because they would know their abilities.. it's simple.

Well, that depends on your definition of "important" character. Anko and Yamato look pretty dead to me, with definitely even more to follow them.
